I woke up late, this morning, and felt somewhat lethargic. I tried doing a bit of coding, but nothing seemed to fall into place, and I couldn't really be bothered to tackle anything.

I closed the laptop before dinner, and opted to give up on the day.

Here's what happened on my day off..

1. SpikeDislike iOS (the original) was made free.
There's currently a really super popular iOS game out there, called Flappy Bird, which is popular even though it uses blatantly ripped Mario sprites, and has little or no gameplay.
It's a lot like SpikeDislike, except SpikeDislike has that lovely Combo system to keep the game flowing nicely.
Flappy Bird on the other hand, is a dull, lifeless, bland experience.
The last thing I did last night before bed, was set SpikeDislike free until Friday 7th, so that people could get a proper taste of how that kind of game is supposed to be done.

2. SpikeDislike2 on GameJolt
Continuing on this same thread, I uploaded a freeware edition of SpikeDislike onto GameJolt. This is probably one of the largest of all the freeware editions, I think, and contains 15 gamemodes, along with the unlocking mechanics.

3. Eleven Games better than Flappy Bird
PocketGamer posted a collection of 11 games that make Flappy Bird look as utterly crap as it is!!
Top of the list... SpikeDislike2!!

4. Early Edition
If you've got an OUYA, you can find tomorrow's AGameAWeek game already on there, as it got through OUYA review without any issues. Hunt for "My Little Rescue Helicopter!"
