Seem to have missed a couple of weeks, there. Hmm.. No matter.
How are things?
I hope you're well, and that nothing too bad has happened since the last time I did one of these.

2015 was my Gap Year. I took the year off from a lot of my regular stuff.
The newsletter vanished.
Musical tasks became secondary.
And even AGameAWeek took some time off.

Was the break worth it?
Well, I've certainly had a very active imagination over the past 52 weeks, and have built up quite an interesting list of upcoming projects, many of which will more than likely crash and burn!
I also took some time to fix up quite a number of bugs and other things in a variety of my sites, including several tweaks to SoCoder that I've pretty much all but forgotten about.

All told, 2015 was a bit of a let down. I honestly expected that taking the year off would've resulted in a number of new directions for me, but in the end all I really did was doodle a silly Platdude picture every day, and not much else.
I guess that's always the way, though, isn't it.
You say to yourself "a year off", and that's exactly what your brain gives you.
It idles the days away, watching countdown and playing scrabble.

Meh, whatever.

Here's to 2016.
May it be a bit more fruitful.

(Note : Already it's become twice as awkward to post these, as iCloudNotes no longer seems to copy blank lines over to Windows Notepad. Grrrr!)
