01 - Very first video game
A strange ascii BASIC game on the Amstrad CPC 6128, that took the map layout from HeroQuest, and had you running around the maze being chased by squiggly monsters. I really need to find a way to dig that out, or at the very least, do a quick and easy remake of it.	Clever Clogs on the ZX Spectrum. I have little or no memory of it, but it's the game in my hand in this photo.
02 - Your favourite character
Platdude!! Of course!	Sonic the Hedgehog (You know who that is!!)
03 - A game that is underrated
NeonPlat Adventures Why does nobody like it!?	Future Cop : LAPD, especially it's fun multiplayer mode.
04 - Your guilty pleasure game
Penises!!	I play a ludicrous amount of Words With Friends. I currently have 15 games on the go, and typically play about 2 or 3 words on each game, a day, whilst watching Countdown, or before bed. My username is Jayenkai, (obviously!!) if you'd like to add me.
05 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were)
Platdude! In his original games, Platdude would solve puzzles and run around to get places. I used to do that! Now I just solve puzzles.	Bubsy the Bobcat : Tries to be a successful character, but is ultimately left behind because he generally fails at important points, and can't quite grasp the world of 3D gaming.
06 - Most annoying character
Barry the Spelling Bee I intended to make a really big spelling challenge game with this character, but .. I guess I just never got around to it. Nowadays I tend to focus on controller-based games, and touchscreens and things, so it's hard to bring him back.	Any character that acts as a tutorial for the player. Damn you, Omochao, STFU! I know how to play!!
07 - Favourite game couple
Platdude and Platgal (although she's never actually been in a game!)	Sonic and Tails
08 - Best soundtrack

09 - Saddest game scene
I'm not sure I've made any string-pulling sad bits in any of my games. I tend to prefer cheery stuff. Unless you count all the lives you lose!?	I don't usually play sad games, either. If I want feelie-times, I'll watch a movie, or TV, or read a book. Games are funtime!
10 - Best gameplay
Centipong I've tried to make better versions, but I've never quite beaten how good the original was.	Sonic 2 Everything was just right. It's been downhill ever since!
11 - Gaming system of choice
I haven't made my own gaming system!! But I have made oodles of games for OUYA, and everything about the OUYA was great. It's a shame it didn't take off.	The original Wii, with it's fantastically well presented WiiMotes, and the wonderful WiiSports. I'm very much looking forward to Switch's release, in just over a month's time.
12 - A game everyone should play
Space Station A6-100 A nice Alien shooting maze game. Find the disk to beat the level!	Boing! Docomodake DS! A mostly-ignored platform puzzle game.
13 - A game you've played more than five times
Any game I'm currently developing gets played over and over and over again, but Blockman Gets is one of my favourites to replay.	Sonic 2. I love that I can complete that in one sitting. There aren't many games that I have the patience to do that!
14 - Current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper
My Windows Desktop currently loops the Platdude Pixelart Desktops. There's currently over 750 of the things! (Click the Desktop Bundle button to download them all!)	The last "not my own" desktop picture that I remember having, and it lasted an awfully long time, was a wonderful Dreamcast themed picture, which (If I remember correctly) was linked on the old (no longer updated) UKResistance site. I'm struggling to find the image on the site, but I still have it on my NAS drive!! Have at! And apologies to the creator for lack of credit. It's been on my NAS for many many years! .. 2004, apparently!!

16 - Game with the best cut scenes
I tend not to add cut-scenes in any of my games. The closes I can probably come up with is the end credits on something like The Final Warrior	Sonic 3&Knuckles' cut scenes were the perfect amount of cut-scene. The game stops, an animation plays, the game continues. I'm playing a game, not reading a book.
17 - Favourite Antagonist
Spike Everybody dislikes Spike... But everybody likes SpikeDislike.	Dr "Eggman" Robotnik After the evil things he did to those beans.. *tsk tsk*
18 - Favourite protagonist
Platdude! Who could be better than a character ripped off of a 1980's Amstrad CPC ascii character!?	Tails Tails doesn't get enough love.
19 - Picture of a game setting you wish you lived in
Nice and relaxing. Although I'm not 100% sure about the purple sky..	It might be nice to live in RollerCoaster Tycoon. You'd certainly have lots to do! (Although, with my super-nausea, maybe not!!)
20 - Favourite genre
I don't have a particular favourite. I have a few pet-peeves, like Menu-based JRPGs. But, yeah, anything with a starfield!	Anything that doesn't involve 17 hours of storyline. I asked for a game, not a novel.
21 - Game with the best story
The Final Warriorfish has an epic story!	Jet Set Willy. That evil Maria! Grrr..
22 - A game sequel which disappointed you.
Centipong 2 I intended for this to be as fun to play as the original. It wasn't. It was shit..	Super Mario 3D Land This game was neither a sequel to Super Mario Land, nor was it a decent 3D game. It was a 2.5D adventure, and felt more like New Super Mario than Super Mario Land. Disappointed
23 - Game you think had the best graphics or art style
Your Game Has a Bug In It I did enjoy making this, but the engine had too many quirks, especially the mouse clicking locations. It just wasn't quite right.	I love the original Paper Mario games. That's a great art style!.. Kinda the same vibe, too. Hmm.. I definitely didn't nick it, honest!!!
24 - Favourite Classic Game
The oldest game on my archive is JNKSlalom, but I wouldn't call that my best. I'll have to dig out all my Amiga stuff, some day, to find the true best-of.	Manic Miner No competition!
25 - A game you plan on playing
This question has no relevance in the "Games I've Made" section. It'd be really odd if I hadn't played any of the games I've made!!	Splatoon I should probably have played it by now, and I'm not really sure why I haven't. Having to plug the WiiU back in, is probably one reason!
26 - Best voice acting
Sheep Goes Right! A game I still (!) haven't bothered to finish off. (and it's currently only on Razer Forge TV!!) There aren't many games with my vocals in them, but this is one of them. Click for a fun video of Otakupunk playing the game.	Any Mario game post Mario 64. Charles Martinet does a wonderful job.
27 - Most epic scene ever
Every Good Bird Deserves Flappyness That moment, just after your bird hits the pipe.	I recently enjoyed the bit of Rhythm Tengoku/Heaven/Paradise Megamix (3DS) when you complete the game.
28 - Favourite game developer
This page has been intentionally left blank	I enjoy a lot of the things that Nyarlu creates. He seems to be the sort of developer that I'd probably be, if I spent more than a week on each game!!
29 - A game you thought you wouldn't like, but ended up loving.
Box's Adventure I'm not a fan of quest/romp/rpg type things, but Box's Adventure stripped everything down to a level that I could be bothered to put up with!	Grand Theft Auto It's a game with a storyline, where the gameplay involves violence, guns, theft, and randomly mowing down pedestrians. It's not the sort of game I'd purposely pick up. But having done so, it's not the sort of game I'd put back down!
30 - Your favourite game of all time
SpikeDislike How could I not choose this?! A random oddity, originally cobbled together within about an hour, as part of an Advent calendar. The game took on a life of its own, and is now a firm favourite.	Frontier : Elite II I have such fond memories of spending days, weeks, months, YEARS playing this game on my Amiga 600. I can only imagine the number of games I might've coded, had it not been for this bloody thing! I recently bought Elite : Dangerous for the XBox One, but have barely played it. .. I think my AGameAWeek audience are probably thankful for that!
