My adventures into 3DS Audio are looking a little bit closer.
I'm now getting the engine to "As far as I can tell" load the audio into the buffer, and keep it there without freaking out over the amount of memory that it's taking up.
At least, I think it's doing it correctly, but .. Who could say for sure.
Once shifted over to the 3DS, it isn't actually doing anything audio-wise, but the fact that it's even bothering to run without crashing is a fairly good sign that I'm doing it right.
.. I think!
Further tweaking will be required, but I'm at least hopeful that something good will happen soon!
