You've probably not noticed, but the "Donate" button that was on the far right of the main menu has changed back into a "Patreon" button.
Last year, after the whole "Charging Patreons extra" business, I mostly abandoned the thing, removed all the links, and said "Sorry guys, no point in this" to the 3 Patreon subscribers.

They've stuck with me, though, and so I figured it was probably about time I started to give back a little something extra.

Today I've posted "Inside Jay's Notebook - 12".

The "Inside Jay's Notebook" series delves into my old notebook, page by page (and occasionally a few pages at a time) to see what mysteries of old I might find.

Patreon seems a much better fit for AGameAWeek than charging Per Game.

People can chip in if they want to, but at no point am I going to force you to do so. I've also never really been all that comfortable placing a specific price tag on any of my games*. After all, they're "only" AGameAWeek, they're nothing massive, and I've certainly not spent a whole lot of time building any of the games...
But I DO do a lot of work when you add it all up, and it's nice that, occasionally, people might recognise that.

If you'd like to subscribe, you can do so here. The money you donate will probably go towards Nongshim noodles and Tayto crisps, to keep me snacking between coding sessions.

In addition, a new Patreon list has been added to the framework, and all subscriber's names will appear in the credits screen of all future games. Oh, joy!!

*iOS Games get a price tag because I've had to pay for a buttload of iOS devices to test the games, a couple of Mac Minis to compile the games, and the annual AppStore Developer fee so I can put the games up there in the first place..

That ain't cheap!!
