Time Flies...

"I know", says I, "I'll write tomorrow's SoCoder newsletter now, so that I don't have to do it in the morning, and can instead get right back to doing the important coding!"

Nope.. Instead I was up until 3:30am doing the newsletter, and then didn't wake up until after 10, thus completely losing all the time I'd managed to save!

D'oh!

Yesterday was all about interwebbyness, as I struggled to find a way to get the Online section of the framework to actually work the way it's intended to.
I think, today, I'm going to HAVE to look into multi-threading my game code, to stop the timeout from locking up the rest of the game.

I've never really tackled multi-threading, and honestly I'm not sure what the heck I'm doing with it, but I guess it needs to be done for this part of the framework, so..
Well..
Gotta get to it!

Although, if I'm completely honest, I really should get more done for this week's game.
I've a LOT of AI code to get done before the game is anywhere near the basic level that I'd like.

So, that's two things I have to do. Neither of which are "simple" tasks.

Ugh.

Some days, I really don't cherish the weekly deadlines that I've set.
