What I Didn't Do

As per usual, time constraints reduced the amount of awesomeness in the game.
One of the biggest time-sinks was trying to get the collision detection to work.
The whole tunnel spins ever so slightly, whilst the player and any bullets do NOT spin around.
It's not enough to be visible, but is plenty to make all the collision go wonky, the further down the tunnel things were.
Spent a good few hours trying to get that working.

Along the way, I, of course, was thinking about how to redo this in Browsercade.
I'm not sure I can pull it off, though, since Browsercade doesn't do sprite recolouring, and the entire tunnel is made up of tons of recoloured/rotated/scaled sprites.
I might be able to do it with just simple lines, but I'm not sure it'll look as good.
Maybe worth a try, though.
