Started playing Homepath 20/750 done. Brilliant puzzle game.

A busy day, yesterday, as I managed to get most of this week's Petit Switch game done, and then started thinking about Emergency Shoebox Games again.. Just in case!

.. And that was as far as I got.

I've a "thing" working in Petit Switch. It's a nice swirly thing that I thought was going to end up like Gravity Bombs, but Petit Switch seems to be struggling at rendering 2000 lines, at various widths and alpha transparency, with physics and gravity involved in those lines, in order to make a pretty picture!!

I forgot that, this week, I also figured out a nice way to get the QWERTY keyboard to pop up for both Hangman and Triplets in the Shoebox. There's now a little subtle [QWERTY]/[ABC] button that shows up in the top bar of the screen. Tap that to switch between the two keyboards. Oddly, I actually find the ABC keyboard easier to use, and that's really really odd!!

A strategic game of destruction! Move your piece to any adjacent tile. Next, REMOVE one of the tiles surrounding your opponent's piece. Players take it in turns until either player is stuck in a position where they can no longer move. You can Play Isolation in the Shoebox in the One On One section.

Need some rocks and circuit boards? Look no further than the latest JNKsg Generators. Rocks are kinda lumpy, but definitely aren't the best looking rocks in the universe. Circuit Boards are a little slow. I really need to figure out a quick and easy way to optimise those. Honestly, not the best update to the JNKsg site. Bah, humbug!

Mostly complaints.. Fuze "tries" to be two things at once. Both a classic BASIC, and a more modern "Not BASIC", and when those two things clash, you either get a great language like BlitzMax, or you get .. Well, Fuze..

Alan suggests.. A QWERTY layout option for the letters might make it a bit smoother. Hard to say without trying it, I guess. Yup, sure would!

I know what game I'd like to make for this week's Browsercade, and my mind's jumping at the chance to see how it plays, but any time I sit at the keyboard, things take a downward turn. I don't think my mind's up to it. And with 3 weeks worth of 4 games a week, who could really blame it. Tonight, then, I'm going to cabbage out and watch a film or something, and not worry about this week's Browsercade game. I've already written a Foldapuz game, and may still do other ...

The gradient background in the above screenshot has been drawn to a secondary canvas, which is then redrawn onto the main canvas. This seems to work reasonably well, and should hopefully allow for a fair number of generated backgrounds and other such effects, without requiring huge 1024x1024 background images to be downloaded. The whole thing runs a little slowly on my Samsung Galaxy 10 A, however, so I'm going to have to add an option to disable the buffer when necessary. But otherwise.. Yeah.. W...

Try to fill up as much of the board in your colour as you can. Normally you can't move over opponent's tiles, but if you earn a 6, you're allowed to move wherever you'd like. There are additional green spots on the board. Reach these for a couple of extra points. You can Play Grid of Conquest in the Shoebox of Games under the Group Games section.

This project was titled "Power Source" when I started it, but the name doesn't fit the end result, so I'm going to have to change it.

Allen writes.. Not sure if you still develop for OUYA but I play all of your games on there and I had a game idea that I wanted to share with you. Oh, how I miss the OUYA.

I was almost certain I was near the end of the Browsercade Framework, but .. Nope.. There are still things to do!

I've done an alarming amount of work on this GUI today, and .. *shrugs* Doesn't look any bloomin' different to how it did, this morning!!

Have spent today working on more menu gubbins, and default "Quit", "Retry" buttons and things. The basic pause screen is looking terribly familiar!
