My brain seemed to switch off from its regular coding mindset, last night. I did no coding whatsoever, and instead spent a good few hours watching old episodes of Retail Archeology on YouTube. A lovely channel full of dead shopping malls!!

I need to come up with a Foldapuz for tonight. Really running out of ideas for that, but am determined to keep pushing onwards until there are literally no more random puzzles left to put in!

..? I've enjoyed doing Shoebox for the past few months, and am currently trying to decide whether I should make a similar browser-based collection of Keyboard/Gamepad supported games. Delving through the depths of AGameAWeek's past, I'd be able to build up a fairly interesting collection that can all be played in your browser. .. @RSKGames suggests.. Can you consider making a version of the new AGAW JS mega compilation into an electron app so that you can retain the online scoreboard. In a electron app I think you can restrict users getting into the dev console. I'll have a look into it.

I was flicking through my Shoebox Todo-List, today, and stumbled upon Atoms. I haven't attempted Atoms for a while, mostly because it requires me to draw all those Atoms!! But, today I drew them, and the engine seems fairly capable. (ignore the fact that half those positions aren't "real", it's just a crazy animating thing, right now!)

Before I dare to attempt to turn AGameAWeek into a "All in one big javascript engine" mega compilation, I think it's important to jot down a few "issues" that there might be..

Oh boy, was yesterday complicated!!

Yesterday was spent making an Pixel/Sprite doodling thing for Petit Switch. With that, JMTrackr and the default audio files, I'm fairly sure I can now get a decent number of games up and running.

We all know what happens if I leave a game for a week.. I find it very hard to get myself back into the swing of things. I need something a little more immediate to pop into the Shoebox, because.. at this rate.. it'll be mid July before The Quest is ready!! "Oh, I know," says my silly head, "what about Hangman?"

With JMTrackr "done, enough" for Petit Switch, I can now happily move on to actually making games on the thing. I've made a quick list of things I should attempt, today.

This morning, my laptop's clipboard still had yesterday's Daily Platdude Pixelart in it. .. This is how much time I've spent working in Petit Switch!

I've gotten JMTracker up to a semi-working state, but still have to add test settings for things like Tempo and Instrument selection, as well as a proper Load requester. But so far, so good, and it's a vaguely decent output.. I think!! Although only a proper set of melodies and actual ingame usage will tell for sure..

Today marks the initial Japanese release of Petit Computer for Switch (PetC4) and .. well, I'm a coding addict, so you know I HAVE to at least get SpikeDislike up and running. 2005 was a long long time ago, so the Quest-Qrew have been given a slight makeover.

As I plough ahead without too much of a plan, I'm having to make a lot of quick decisions along the way.

I have never played this game before so it was fresh and fun for me. After 2 defeats and some reading of the rules I got the hang of it and was able to beat the AI few times.

Mancala is now in the Shoebox! You can Play Mancala in the "One On One" section of the Shoebox.

I might need to do some extra work on the menus.
