Whilst doing Foldapuz, I added in a Chess Font which helped make a couple of nice chess puzzles for the site. Both ideas seem to suit pen'n'paper quite well, but another idea I had is definitely more of a Videogame Logic game.

I've still yet to get online scoreboards working, but for the meantime, this is the current version of the Emscripten based framework running Generic Snake Clone. Yesterday's new Foldapuz addition went alarmingly smoothly. .. I should've known that wasn't a good sign.

Added Find The King, which is another little Chess based puzzle. The enemy have swarmed, and are doing really alarmingly well, and you're down to your last piece. Your King is somewhere on the board, but where can he possibly be? Incidentally, this is the game I previously had in mind, here.

As I add more and more features to Foldapuz, it becomes more and more apparent that I haven't put a bloomin' link on this site, anywhere!!

Without using the word "Scrabble", how would you describe today's new Foldapuz puzzle?

Added Cross Target Spent ages trying to find the best way to represent a Scrabble-Style board using only black ink! I should probably redo bits of it with grey, I think.. Hmm.. Anyway, it's a simple enough concept. You have a rack of tiles, and a specific target to hit. Try to score exactly that many points.

I've spent the past couple of days trying to get a doodle-box working, which users can then use to scribble over selected Foldapuz puzzles, on their mobile devices.

Added Eight Queens to the mix. It's an age old puzzle that's existed in newspapers for as long as I can remember, and was alarmingly simple to add into the mix. I'd like to do another Chess based puzzle, but it's proving a teensy bit more complex to generate, and I honestly don't think it's all that difficult to solve once it has done! A puzzle for another day. The Chess Pieces are drawn using the font "Chess Alpha", which I found on this page.

As I continue to make further tweaks to the server, a couple of major tweaks have been added.

10:30, last night, a Wasp appeared in my bedroom. We hunted the cupboards for Fly/Wasp spray, but none was to be found. Instead, I spent the night on the couch, and it'll be battled at some point this morning.

An hour per game, during which you get to play 10 minigames, and roll a dice 10 times..

Today I did quite a bit for the Tutorial side of JNKPlat. I've added subtle little hints around the first few levels, to help guide the player on their quest.

Today I really need to figure out what the heck I'm doing, as far as Tutorials go.

Ok, server woes over with, it's time to head back to Plat. Tonight I set up the Demo edition. It has 5 simple tutorial'y level packs to play through and includes the current version of the editor.

About time I added one of these. It was always my intention to add one to the "Enter Your Name" screen, but.. Lazy Jay!! I never got 'round to actually adding the thing. Today, I've done that. And, boy, was it complicated!

I should probably have already known this, but taking 500 levels worth of data and cramming it directly inside the code of a 3DS game, seems to cause memory issues!!
