At around 1am, I was starting to drift off to sleep, when suddenly.. "POUNCE!" A late night idea popped into mind.

Shoot the Barrels. Save the World.

Hmm.. Yesterday didn't go very well at all.. The plan was as such. 1. Design Barrel sprite generator. 2. Put barrels into game, with boxes and crates and other such things. 3. Get the game vaguely playable.

Editing Themes

To edit 3DS Homebrew Themes, you'll need a decent editor. I use the editor "Usagi" You can download that here For reference, the version I use is v1.0.12.1 - I'm not sure if there are other (better or worse) editors available, as I found this one and was comfortable using it.

Which project? The one I started yesterday, obviously!!

Yesterday's new Foldapuz addition went alarmingly smoothly. .. I should've known that wasn't a good sign.

I spent most of yesterday struggling to get the Pixelart2STL tool to have a lovely 3D WebGL representation of the model, so that I can then upgrade the tool to allow for monochrome extruded models like the original .exe does.

Otakupunk's sent a lovely set of Xmas Themed levels for JNKPlat. Be sure to give them a whirl! You can grab JNKPlat 2018 here You might also like to grab the complete level file from the Level Database, too. Simply pop it in the same folder as the exe, or if you're playing on 3DS, dump it into the agawsave folder.

Thanks to user "Bangers" (Who is apparently also called Steve) there's a couple of new level packs to be played through, although.. Sweet lord are they the hard variety!!! Platforming with Puzzles!

I've finally got the 3DS version working again!

I struggled to achieve anything of use yesterday.

We start things off with "The Unfinished Beta" At this point, I've been working on JNKPlat 2018 for about a month. The whole of September (except for the week when I had flu, and it completely floored me) has been spent recreating the wonderful world of JNKPlat. The game runs well enough on 3DS and PC alike, and is currently up to a decent enough state that I've opted to release the current version as a "demo" of sorts. ...is the apparent name for the foldable booklet of puzzles. Today I need to decide if I'm going to continue to work on FoldAPuz, or take the time to work on more JNKPlat levels. Or, perhaps I should work on both of them!?!

The Test button is now on the top left, next to the save button. The tile-menu is now on the bottom left instead of the right, leaving quite a gap on the bottom right of the screen. I might need to tweak that a bit!

You know what might be handy? If I had some kind of magic title generator, so I could type in the name of a game, and it'd go "Kapoof!" and magic me up a wide variety of possible titlecards.

Although August 13th isn't a significant date in my health matters, it is the date that I wrote this rather lengthy blog post, back in 2012. I played through practically the entirety of WarioWare Gold on 3DS, yesterday. It wasn't as good as I'd hoped for.

Always evolving, the Framework needs more Scoreboard tweaking. I was hoping to get this done, over the past week, but the Radial Warning complications and lack of gameplay, ended up shifting my focus.

#571 isn't coming together, AT ALL.. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get it to work out. Either it's too easy, and your bullets are too powerful, and the baddies can't reach you... .. or it's WAY too difficult, and the sheer insane bombardment of enemies is completely overpowering.
