Yesterday seemed to escape from me.

I'm still not sure on the best layout for the frontend of the Shoebox. I do like the circular bubbly thing, but there seems to already be way too much scrolling with only 5 games in a section. Give me a year of working with this framework, and there'll be a lot more than 5! (Hopefully!) So, the frontend definitely needs a rethink, but I'm not really sure what kind of layout WOULD work for it all.

I think it's probably about time that I get "Generic unbranded crossword game" into the Shoebox..

Me and Michael Fernie have been emailing back and forth, today, all about the recent Shoebox additions, and player feedback. Lots of new games added to Shoebox. Very nice. Seems like you are getting a bunch of comments too. That is exciting because people are playing. Indeed. Unlike my previous 400 games, these ones actually seem to be popular!! I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing!

As the Shoebox continues to build, more and more and more comments are incoming! I've literally had more comments to the blog in the past couple of months than I have in the past decade!!

Player "Cristo" has submitted four lovely level packs for JNKPlat. You can either find them in the Online Levels section of the game, or grab them here if you need to download them manually (eg 3DS).

Today will be a day spent amongst family, friends and loved ones. The funeral of one of my cousins, whose passing has most definitely taken a toll on all of us. *hugs*

I have a very very specific image in my head, and it's one that IF I dare to make an SVG art doohickey, is going to be at the absolute forefront when I begin. Let's take a deck of cards, because.. Hey, I think I might end up using that!!

The gfx in the credits screen has a very good looking swirling ghost effect. And what a lovely effect it is!

You know that thing where you click on clusters of coloured objects, to earn points, and try to remove all the objects...? That's now in the ShoeBox. (Under Extras) It's a simple enough game, but it's made me realise there's certain things lacking from the ShoeBox Framework, like Score Popups, and lovely particles and things. You can Play Shoebox of Games here Over the course of a couple of weeks, in February 2019, I began the creation of a small collection of JavaScript games. My aim is to, over the next few weeks/months, to slowly expand the number of games included in the pack, to create a lovely little collection of card games, word games, board games and more, all of which are playable within your browser.

I've added semi-persistent score handling to the Shoebox Framework, along with plenty of space to add a decent selection of scores and things into the mix. You can Test the Shoebox here!

In order to get SpikeDislike Classic (or is it Classic SpikeDislike?) to work as universally as I can, there's been a lot of Delta Timing tweaks, alongside a bunch of 3DS Scaling-Issue related stuff that had to be done.
