This will be SpikeDislike Classic, and as such will be a back-to-basics approach.
Nobody seemed to like the wonderful new additions that I made to SD3, so they'll all be scrapped in favour of the good old "Ball bounces along the ground, dodging spikes, full stop" mechanic that everybody loves.

After each release, an influx of a comment bombards the pages of the site, and we get to see what people thought of the game.

Today's tweaks have finally made the Chess game a bit more lively.
A bit more fiddling and, hopefully, I should be able to get the difficulty back to something fairly decent.
Right now it's still a little bland, and games can carry on for far too long without much of a threat, so a little more "look ahead" and things should be golden!

Got an email, this morning, from someone who was slightly perturbed by the fact that my RSS hasn't updated since 8/26/2017.
When I switched from using Wordpress to my own blog script, one of the lost features was RSS. Mostly because I was too lazy to code a feed, but also because I wasn't sure that anyone actually still used RSS.
This morning's email suggests that, somewhere in the world, at least one person still reads their RSS feeds once every couple of years.

This morning's work on the Chess game has resulted in things being a lot more playable.
The game is now "working", and can be played fairly well.
The one "ever so slight" issue is that it's currently hard as nails!!

Didn't get an awful lot of coding done, yesterday.
My mind was unsure whether to make the Chess game into a puzzle or an action game, and it was as though that decision clogged up my mind to the point where I didn't actually do anything at all!!

Whilst doing Foldapuz, I added in a Chess Font which helped make a couple of nice chess puzzles for the site.
Both ideas seem to suit pen'n'paper quite well, but another idea I had is definitely more of a Videogame Logic game.
