What a happy title for a card game!!
Fairly complex rules ahead, but it's actually really simple once you get the hang of it.
Your aim in this game is to remove all "Pay off" cards from your side of the table. (They're the cards on the bottom left)
To do so, move cards onto the Center Piles (the three in the middle), starting from Ace and moving up to Queen. These can be of any suit, and if you place a King, it acts as a wildcard, becoming the next number in the sequence.
You can move car...

After tweeting this morning's daily Foldapuz default sheet to Twitter, I lay in bed wondering what Foldapuz game to make, next..
I started to drift off to sleep with the idea of a simple word game.
But then .. a Twitter notification..
OK then.. A maze game of sorts...
But what sort of sort..?
I rolled over, curled up, and drifted gently off to sleep, thinking about mazes..

Testing Touching
Blog
21st July 2019
In order to properly test my onscreen touch controls, I'm going to need some kind of quick playable game, so that's going to be today's task.
Something short and simple, but complex enough to really put the controls to the test.

After I release more and more games, player's try desperately to keep up!
Let's see what RSKGames thinks of today's Shoebox addition.
You can Play Grid of Conquest in the Shoebox, under the Group Games section.
@RSKGames''Grid of Conquest'' immediately reminded me of ''Might of the Balls'' which was incidentally made almost on a similar date last year ''23rd July, 2018''. Oh yeah! I'd actually forgotten about that game.Views 167, Upvotes 37

After a couple of days of back&forth, I've finally decided "meh, whatever!" and opted to go for a Coverflow-RipOff style menu.
It actually looks rather nice, and scrolls quite well, except on touchscreens where the thing's a teensy bit dodgy due to co-ordinate issues.
But otherwise it works nicely. (Although it isn't "quite" centring properly!)
Scroll around, select a game, sorted..
Currently all "games" lead to the exact same test engine, but eventually this will (hopefully!) be a ma...

2019 So Far
Blog
4th June 2019
Started a spreadsheet to help keep my new Schedule in order, and decided to try plonking in the games I've made so far this year, so I get a nice little "Games made this year" stat along the side.
Things are obviously not assigned to the correct day of the week, but are at least linked to the right week numbers!
So far, 36 games in 22 weeks.
That'll do!!

So, today I wrote a basic minimal Framework in PetItC4 with simple enough functionality, but hopefully enough to allow for lots of variety in future projects.
I've added a basic DrawImg thing, along with my usual set of SetCol, SetAlpha, SetSize and SetRot commands.
I've created a sprite loop to draw sprites when required, and blank out any unused sprites at the end of the loop.
I DID originally try adding a SPCLR (clear all sprites) at the top of the loop, but that flickered horribly. You'...

Upon each move of this classic Tile-based word game, a computer opponent will set a "Par" target.
Try to score as close to the target as you can, in order to earn the most points. Your score will be based on how close to the target you get, rather than the value of your words. Views 184, Upvotes 29

RSKGamesPlayed ''Shuffled Tracks'' and was quite surprised to find such a polished game done in 2 days. You'd be surprised.. ... The game was almost ready to go, yesterday!! Most of today's coding session was spent fixing up the generator to make the levels more difficult.Views 137, Upvotes 30

So, the Shoebox now has Level capabilities.. That's nice!
I'm tempted to add something like Quadoban, or maybe a Kee-Bo-Ard, but that would definitely be crossing the border between physical and arcade.. I might need to come up with some way to mesh the styles together, somehow, and create a brand new sort of game.
Hmm..

Accordion Ready!!
Blog
19th March 2019
A few quick tweaks and a change to the "Game Over" parameters, which also required the drawing of a generic trophy icon!!
Accordion is now part of the ShoeBox, overwriting what used to be "Trails".
The game now brings up a little Trophy on the bottom left, if you've got less than 5 piles remaining (+ whatever's left in the draw deck).
The Accordion rules state that any leaps should be "over 2", not "over 1" like I had it with Trails, so in order to make things a little less frustrating, I...
