I had a lovely birthday, yesterday. Thanks for all who sent well wishes yesterday. I'm now strictly over the hill. Perhaps I should have some sort of middle-age midlife crisis, and do something crazy like buy a bungalow, and switch to MacOS, full time. .. Oh..

Today (presuming my shoe rack arrives early enough) will be focussed on my desk. Turning it form "OMG!CHAOS!!" back to some sort of videogame haven.

Well, that idea didn't last...

Yesterday was pretty much a day off. The sliffles and flu took hold, and I've had over 24 hours of sleep during the past two days. Not much coding is getting done!

Full of flu, this morning. I think whatever floored Mum yesterday, has hit me hard, too. Today will be a day full of laziness and sitting and.. Probably more coding. Why not..

I'm supposed to be heading to our new Doctor's today, to have the usual blood tests and whatnot, but Mum's not feeling too good, and may need to see a Doctor.. !

The interface/GUI todo-list is getting out of hand!

Yesterday went fairly smoothly, if I'm honest!

Today's (hopefully) Carpet Day, unless it gets delayed and doesn't show up, or is the wrong size, or the wrong colour, or quite frankly, any number of other issues.. .. Hurray!

Bought one of those silicon cover things for the face-padding around the Quest 3.

The bedroom's whiteness continues to whiten, but the furniture's been shuffled around to their possibly final position.

So many boxes!! OMG, how many boxes did I pack!?! Though, to be fair, I had a LOT of time to pack them all.

Well, there goes that fiver I won on the lottery over the weekend. The Washing Machine broke.. \o/yeay\o/

"I still await confirmation from your buyers solicitor they are ready to proceed" We're still waiting for a 100% tick on the sale of the house, but apparently everything Bungalow Side is good to go. We're 95% of the way there. Let's just hope the buyers don't pull out, now, after waiting so damn long.

Oh dear, I'm stuck in a cycle of JSE Optimising again! Aargh!!

This week's going to be one of those weeks, isn't it..

Today will be mostly resting, other than all the other bits and pieces I have to do.

Just got a marketing email from my Estate Agent telling me I can get a free appraisal.. They're literally selling my home, right now, what more do they want?

All the forms are submitted, and everything's ready to go on our end. The seller of the Bungalow is also ready to go. Now we just wait for the buyers, I suppose..

Oh boy, 15 years has really flown by!

Hopefully we hear something from either the Estate Agents or the Solicitors at some point, today, or we're stuck here waiting until probably Tuesday before we hear anything.

A contract was signed yesterday. The envelope waits, on the coffee table, ready to be posted in about an hour or so. This likely isn't the end, but it's certainly a big step forward.

The recent power issues have apparently now been solved. Hurray! .. Maybe.

We're taking a two-week break from the stresses of the house move.

We're currently waiting for a skip to arrive. All the clutter from the loft the other day is waiting in the back garden to be transitioned into a new large yellow container! Hurray!
