So, time to add a board game.

Today's new addition to the ShoeBox is a simple anagram game. Try to score as many points as you can from the rack of tiles that you have. If you can't find a word, you can use the Swap button, but each one will use up one of your moves. (You have a limit of 3 swaps when playing timed mode) As with Strings mode, you'll need to try to beat your previous highscore to count the game as a "Win" You can Play Shoebox here, where you'll find Score Rack in the Word Games menu.

The classic "hop over to remove" solitaire game is now part of the Shoebox. It's a simple enough game. Leap either horizontally or vertically over another counter, to remove it from the board. Today I'll be tackling the actual functionality of the new Board functions.

You know that thing where you click on clusters of coloured objects, to earn points, and try to remove all the objects...? That's now in the ShoeBox. First up, I've decided to just let "Trails" be "Trails", and stop worrying about what the actual game might possibly have really been.

I added another Solitaire game to the Shoebox, last night, but it was entirely from memory, and my memory's starting to fade!!

KORG Gadget 2 released, yesterday morning, on iOS, Mac and also now on Windows. As such, I took a day off from coding, and instead spent the day playing with the iOS edition of the app.

You can Play Shoebox of Games here Over the course of a couple of weeks, in February 2019, I began the creation of a small collection of JavaScript games. My aim is to, over the next few weeks/months, to slowly expand the number of games included in the pack, to create a lovely little collection of card games, word games, board games and more, all of which are playable within your browser.

I started drawing some little icons last night, in as simple a method as I could find.

Today I need to start getting the rules of Spider Solitaire to work, but as always will be looking for ways to reuse this code for all the future games.

A very Platdude styled set of cards are ready to be used, but there's no game for them to go into, yet. Today will be about starting a new framework to cope with them.

I tried, yet again, to get the iOS side of my Framework to run, last night.

Wednesday was my Mum's 60th birthday, so she spent a couple of days over with my Sister. She arrived back, yesterday, and as a surprise I decided to attempt to bake her a cake!!

You might've noticed that, since yesterday, the Poetry Corner now has a little crappily designed scroll image.

In order to get SpikeDislike Classic (or is it Classic SpikeDislike?) to work as universally as I can, there's been a lot of Delta Timing tweaks, alongside a bunch of 3DS Scaling-Issue related stuff that had to be done.

I've just spent the past couple of hours trying to fix a really stupid bug in the game logic. All of a sudden, enemy rooks could leap over your pieces. I looked into the code, and ... Yeah, I can see how that's happening. The issue being, of course, that to fix it I'd need to rewrite a significant chunk of the movement code, and probably break a whole bunch of other things along the way. This is a test. I'm not sure how compatible the new RSS feed is going to be, but if you'd like to try it out in your RSS Reader of Choice, then the url is rss.xml, which is a fairly obvious choice for rss feed urls, I think. A slight tweak to the Maths Maze generator, as it was making some puzzles far far too easy. I've now added a "20 or above" limit to the goal, which should help increase the difficulty level a little, as the previous day's puzzles all seemed to be a little too simplistic. I might yet tweak it a bit further to avoid repetition, but for now it's good enough.
