2006 - Scorched Tanks Test

I used to LOVE playing Scorched Tanks on the Amiga. A fantastic "PD" game, with tanks and mountains.
An awesome game.
I figured it'd be a nice game to attempt a remake of, so got an engine up and running.

It works..
There's nothing particularly wrong with it..
.. but then I couldn't come up with anything new to add to it, and realised I'd just be making a straight forward port, so the game didn't really get any further than a few simple bombs.

Recently I've discovered Pocket Tanks.
This is an official remake of Scorched Tanks, written by the original authors of the Amiga classic.
It's available on all kinds of devices, from Windows to Android, and runs nicely on an iPad.
