New games every week!
Back to the Framework Blog
6th April 2022
Spent a good couple of hours, yesterday, making my way through A New Hope in Lego Star Wars.
Not a bad little adventure, and I'm fairly sure I'll play through at least A New Hope before getting bored with it. Such is my gamer's ADHD!

Today, back to coding (though I did code most of Kick Kick Mushroom yesterday, too!)
The Amiga needs a good old-fashioned AGameAWeek Framework.
I already coded the JRand number function the other week, so I can slot that in.
A Menu/Game/Menu interface should be next, and then maybe have a look and see how plausible it is to hack at a mod file once it's in memory, in a vague attempt to get JMTrackr working. Though it might be best to do proper choons, here..

*shrugs*

I'm also quite worried about the memory I'm using. I've opted to use the FSUAE emulator for final testing, and keep the memory down at the base 1Mb so that I can be sure everything fits ok on there.
I should probably run a few experiments, too, to see what happens with the memory under a bunch of different conditions. Different graphics resolutions, colour depths, things like that.
It'd be good to know what I can and can't squeeze into the rather small amount of space that I have.
