Over the past month or so, I've been trying so hard to keep up with the AGameAWeek pace. The two-letter games thing was supposed to keep me spurred on, imagination wise, and the end of that is so very close that it's stupid to think about stopping here.

But I can't go on any longer.

A month or so ago, we started re-organising my bedroom again, and you'll likely remember me posting pictures of everything being dumped into boxes whilst we shuffle things around.

Whilst doing that, me and Mum looked at the boxes, and how we'd have to buy all new shelving units and then unpack all the same things back onto the same sort of shelves..
We both considered the same crazy idea at the same crazy time.

With my balance issues getting seemingly worse, especially on stairs, and Mum not getting any younger, we started to seriously consider the possibility of downsizing to a Bungalow.

Should we, could we, how..!?
With zero savings and a practically empty bank account, we did what any sane person would do.. We got a valuation for our house, and put it on the market.
It took a few weeks to organise the Estate Agent, sort out the photos, etc, but we put the house on the market on the 7th of June.

"You can't put offers on houses until you've got an offer" they told us, but we kept looking, and had a rough idea of the areas we wanted to look at, and kept viewing properties along the way. (A whole 3 of them!)

Viewings started, and we had to excuse ourself for most of them. A couple of walks around the village were undertaken. Quite an effort for me, but well worth it.

A week and a day later, on the 15th, we'd got our first offer.
On the 16th, we'd sold the house.
On the 17th, we put a bid in for a bungalow, and got it accepted.

It's now the 20th, and OH MY GOD has it been one crazy month.

We currently have a bunch of solicitors forms to fill, and all sorts of other such guff to do, paperwork wise.
We have to finish off packing my bedroom.. and the whole entire rest of the house!!

"It'll take a while, it's all very slow", people warned us.
I thought I'd have time for these last three games (X.X., Y.Y. and Z.Z.) but everything's been going CRAZY fast, and this week has been complete and utter chaos.

For these reasons, I'm going to stop, here.
I'll keep you all up to date with the (hopefully) daily blogs, and I might yet manage to finish off the ALBum (I have tomorrow's already lined up), but for the most part I'll be taking a break from AGameAWeek.
Honestly, my brain is completely frazzled at this point, and trying to do all the maths and other stuff that gamedev requires is currently beyond my head's capabilities!!

I'll be back, though.
And if everything manages to go through without a hitch, (eg, there's no pull-outs as far as sale/purchase goes, and no horrible reports from the survey), then I might be ready to get back into the swing of things in a stupidly short amount of time. After all, it's gone crazy quick, so far.

But, for now, we've sold the house (Subject To Conditions), bought a bungalow (Subject To Conditions) and will be doing all of the things that are necessary to bring that to a happy conclusion.

Ugh..
