Today the surveyor will be coming to survey the house.

This house was sold on the 16th of June. It's now a month and a week later (24th July) and that's how bloomin' long it's taken for their surveyor to get out to us.
It's kinda depressing that it's taken that long, especially since a lot of the "Will they, Won't they" is dependant on what the survey ends up saying.
There's also the long and dreary wait for their Land Search, which could take up to 4 months, if they've opted to do it. We've had absolutely no word on that side of things, so far, and that's kind of worrying.

We're pretty much just stuck in a rut until that happens.
Ugh..

Meanwhile...

Yesterday's plan for a shuffle-board to do the attack/defend thing really didn't end up feeling all that great in my head.

If you're playing a single player RPG-like, and you're running around the board. Roll, move, roll, move, roll, move, then you reach an enemy..
The game stops whilst you do the shuffle-board thing, and then again for the enemy's counter attack, and then again for your return attack to hopefully finish them off.

It's exactly the same thing that I hate about JRPG's. That "And now the action stops!!!" bit.

I really hate not having come up with something a little faster paced, so I'll probably leave this in the kettle of ideas, and let it bubble away a bit longer.

It has to be JUST right!!
