Mum's planning to get over to the bungalow at some point in the next few days.
She'll be ringing up the Estate Agents and asking for a measurement day, where her and Uncle will get to head up, get access to the property, and do all the measuring she can possibly think of.

Overall room sizes as well as window sizes will be first priority.
Frustratingly, both her and Uncle are of the generation that uses Imperial numbers, so they'll be texting me numbers in squiggles and boop-bops, and then I have to translate them all into actual real-world decimal numbers that the computer can understand.

I'm slightly annoyed that I can't get out there, too, but it'll have to be via the bus route again, and there's no way may head could put up with over an hour on buses.

Grrr.

But today's a quiet day.
It's a "Bank Holiday", here in the UK, which for those who don't understand what a Bank Holiday is, it's essentially a random day that someone plucked out of thin air for all the people to have a day off for no rhyme or reason.

The August bank holiday was originally introduced to give workers time off to enjoy the cricket season. (iNews link, might be region locked, I hate linking to news websites)

The modern equivalent would be like having a day off for a game release, and then having that day off every year, ever since.
So, today's a national day off, and there won't be any Solicitors or Estate Agents getting in touch, today.
Just a day of sitting around, and doing nothing much.

I might try to code something, today.
Yesterday's attempt was a complete fail, as my head just wasn't in the mood for bothering to learn anything. It did that "NO!!!" thing again, so I had to put down the laptop, and spent most of the day playing various Shoebox Of Games games. Those are great for chilling out with!
