There's a new effect in the PixelCubes/Vidgen tool.
Right at the bottom is a new effect that draws a 3/4/5/6/7/8 sided shape, with various colours, and zooms in to fill the screen.
The shape ripples along with any music, and the result was used on yesterday's Advent choon.

The interface, though, needs a complete reworking.
I've discovered a nice "zoom/blur" effect, which (although slow on a lot of systems) looks really nice.
But there's no button for that on the interface.
Today, then, I might spend some time to rework the entire VidGen GUI to make things a little less..
um..
...

The rest of the PixelCubes tools have a similar theme, but VidGen is a whole different interface, and things just don't seem to fit well together, at all.

Meanwhile...

The Advent Choon ended up ok. The lyrics are a bit clunky, though.
Hopefully today's choon will be a little better.
Judging from the video that Otakupunk posted last night, I expect today's might be a little bit doughy.
