Kicking 2024 off in fine form, I launched the first game of the year just before midnight, last night.

And, we're off!

It's just a simple little Q*Bert remake, and I stuck with those horrible diagonal controls that everyone hates, but I did at the very least make the Easy mode have guard-rails.
Good luck if you're trying it on Hard mode!!!
I actually only just added the guard-rails at the very last minute, so if you find the game to be absolutely hellish on hard mode, just know that I was playing it like that for most of the game's development!!



It's a nice enough remake, I reckon, and the combo scoring works to keep things slightly more interesting.
It also feels a fair bit like Blockman Gets, though. Is that a bad thing?
I'm not 100% sure.

Today I need to get the "Download Html5 Project" button working again in JSE. That's very broken, right now, especially when Delta times are added into the mix.
.. I was supposed to have done that weeks ago, but .. yeah.. :/
