I might've coded too much on Sunday, as Monday ended up being a "little bits here and there" sort of day.
-=-=-
A couple of tweaks are visible already, as I've added BlueSky and RSS Feed icons to the top right of the site.
I've previously been of the opinion that the RSS Link should be bottom right of a website. That's how it "used to be", so that's the mentality I've stuck with.
But since Twitter's 178th death, last week, RSS Feeds seem to be a common thing in both Mastodon and BlueSky, and whenever I've checked people's sites, the RSS icon seems to be up there with the other social links.
As such, I opted to pop my RSS icon up there, too.
.. Though the link is also mirrored, down on the bottom corner, too, because ... damnit, that's where it's supposed to be!!!
Meanwhile...
Gosh, it was cold all day, yesterday.
We went out for a short stroll, but only got about halfway down the street, before having to turn back.
These are the days when it starts to get too cold for my head to cope, and we end up minimising the walks that I can manage.
Happens this time of year, every year, and it kinda sucks to be stuck indoors without even the remotest possibility of a day out, for days on end.
.. But I'd rather be safe than sorry, and, especially around here, the paths can be lethal when icy. The whole estate seems to have been built on a giant set of anthills with every direction you turn being its own unique gradient!
I struggle to walk as it is, without that being in the way..
Which is why when this happened...
...I knew I was going to be in for the rest of the week.
Ugh..
So, today then will be to say "OK, staying in then..", wrapping myself up with a my big bobble hat on, and staying warm through the act of coding until my fingers are warm again!

[Dave's writing additional clauses for the house offer while Green looks increasingly worried]
Dave: And clause 47b - property must maintain adequate Cola storage temperature at all times.
Green: Dave, you can't put that in a house offer.
Dave: Why not?
Green: Because you aren't renting it, Dave. It'll be up to you to manage things like that.
Dave: What about clause 48c - garage ventilation must support server operations.
Sarah: Usually we just put the offer amount...
Dave: Oh! And don't forget clause 49a - kitchen must retain all existing egg timers.
Green: Just write a normal offer!
Dave: Fine. But I'm adding a cola storage addendum.
Sarah: A what?
Green: Ignore him. What's a reasonable offer amount?
[Scene Two]
Int. Green's Living Room - Afternoon
[Dave's pacing while Green reads the estate agent's response]
Dave: Well?
Green: They've accepted your offer...
Dave: YES! Time to measure for the Cola bike!
Green: BUT they want clarification about your additional clauses.
Dave: Which ones?
Green: All 186 of them.
Dave: Even the one about the sprinkler system modifications?
Green: Especially that one.
Dave: But how else will I maintain optimal Cola distribution?
Green: Dave, normal houses don't need Cola distribution systems!
Dave: That's what you said about the microwave, and look how well that turned out.
Green: You covered it in stickers!
Dave: What's wrong with that?
Green: On the inside.
Dave: Only so that my beans would have something to look at whilst spinning around.
[Scene Three]
Int. Estate Agent's Office - Late Afternoon
[Sarah looks bewildered as Dave explains his requirements]
Dave: So you see, the Cola storage facility needs proper temperature control.
Sarah: Mr. Parker, these aren't standard house requirements...
Dave: And the kitchen needs at least three backup power supplies.
Green: For the egg timer?
Dave: You never know when you'll need emergency timing capabilities!
Sarah: Perhaps we could simplify the offer?
Dave: Fine. But I'm keeping the clause about the ginger cat landing zone.
Sarah: The what?
Green: Don't ask. Please, Please don't ask.
Dave: And the Cola flag mounting points.
Green: Just. Buy. The. House.
Dave: Only if they throw in the egg timer.
Sarah: They've agreed to include the egg timer.
Dave: [Leaping into the air] YES!!
