The Garden Dreams

[Dave's overgrown garden. Dave and Green are wandering around whilst Dave waves his phone around testing the new WiFi signal.]

Dave: And blooming flowers, not little things, but large bushes of flowers, bringing all the colours to life.
Green: Uhuh...?
Dave: And right in the middle is the perfect spot for a bench. Right under the beautiful apple tree.
Green: What tree?
Dave: The one I'm going to plant. For shade. And aesthetics.
Green: You can barely see the ground through these weeds.
Dave: But imagine it! Flowers blooming, ornaments glinting in the sunlight...
Green: Ornaments? Statues. Inanimate statues, right?! Not like giant T-Rex's on tracks.
Dave: No, better! Ones with built-in speakers. And Cup holders. For Cola.

[Dave continues testing wifi signal at various points around the garden.]
Dave: Three bars here! That's enough for streaming those motivational videos.
Green: You're going to watch videos... in the garden?
Dave: While drinking garden Cola!
Green: It's December, Dave.
Dave: Then I'll need a weatherproof bench. With a roof. And walls.
Green: That's... that's a shed, Dave.

[Dave starts marking out spaces with his feet]
Dave: The vending machine can go here, next to the meeting chairs.
Green: You're not recreating the meeting room in your garden.
Dave: But think how productive garden meetings could be!
Green: No, Dave. Stick to the original plan. Just a nice garden at the end. Maybe a couple of benches for when you want a meeting.
Dave: What about all the people? Where will they all sit?
Green: I think you're maybe overthinking how many people will ever be here at one time.
Dave: Me, You, Andy, Joe, Bill, Matt, Jenny. That's already way more than two benches.
Green: If that ever happens, we'll bring out some patio furniture or something. It'll be fine.
Dave: But the coke fridge is still going in the corner, right?
Green: If that's where you want it to be.

[End credits roll as Dave leaps into the air, cheering]
