A.I. Tree: You do realise Christmas is less than two weeks away?
Dave: Perfection takes time. Don't you watch Star Trek?
A.I. Tree: I'm not entirely sure how that's relevant.
Dave: These decorations need to be exactly right. Each can needs to be perfectly cylindrical.
A.I. Tree: They're paper.
Dave: They're art!

[Dave slides another perfectly rolled tube of paper from a ballpoint pen]
Dave: See? Perfect!
A.I. Tree: It's taken you three hours to make six of those, so far.
Dave: Quality over quantity!
A.I. Tree: You need at least a hundred to make any impact on my branches.
Dave: Stop pressuring me! You're as bad as that silly A.I. Greenie I had.

[Green enters]
Green: Are you not done yet?
Dave: That's what the tree said.
A.I. Tree: The Tree has a name.
Dave: [ignoring the tree] You can't buy these in shops!
Green: There's probably a reason for that.
Dave: Look how perfect they are!
Green: They're a bit... wonky.
Dave: They're deliberately asymmetrical! For artistic effect!

[Dave continues rolling printed paper cans around his pen]
A.I. Tree: At this rate, you should be done by Easter.
Dave: You can't rush genius!

[Dave holds up another finished mini can]
Dave: Look! You can even read the ingredients!
A.I. Tree: I am sighing, electronically.
Green: Have you at least got lights for the tree?
Dave: Not yet. They're on order, though. Should be here by tomorrow, then we can have everything lit up and looking cokealicious.
Green: They're red and white, aren't they?
Dave: Sure are! Now, help me thread some of these paper coke cans, and pop 'em on the tree.
A.I. Tree: I'm doomed!!
