It's a good job I'm not doing Advent this year, because it frees up time to write games every single day, and that's not exhausting in the slightest!

This isn't advent, and this isn't another game with Santa.
Santa's still not shooting, either. Santa wouldn't shoot.
Santa's only weapon is his giant beard, which he uses to suffocate the elves that don't do their job properly.
.. I haven't made that game.
Because this isn't Advent.
Santa's glad that Rudolph's had his carrots, early, this year, and the invaders are trying to ruin Christmas.
Battle the invaders without getting hurt, or Santa's Sleigh might not survive!

What I Didn't Do
I didn't add any presents. I was going to do "B button to throw down a present", but the ground is moving way too fast, and targeting was next to impossible.
I don't think you miss it though.

Rudolph and his nose of laser blasting (peow)
Cannot wait to shoot the aliens
Descending on the town (peow)
That lies beneath the sleigh
As Santa flies upon his merry way this christmas
[background oooh choir]
Glowing so red in the darkened sky,
His nose lights up like a christmas pie,
That was baked too long in the oven this year
Now he blasts giant lasers in the air
that defeat all the aliens that are up there. (yeah)
[more choir]
Under the sleigh, kids look up to the sky
Where they see Saint Nick trying not to die,
As Rudolph shoots the alien fighters,
From the air with his nose and his laser powers
shooting all of the aliens down, down, down
(peow peow peow-peow peow peow peow)
[cheers]
[bridge]
High above the rooftops, the battle rages on,
Rudolph's nose is glowing, the lasers fire strong.
Santa holds the reins and shouts, "Ho ho ho, you alien scum!"
Rudolph blasts the aliens and he's having lots of fun..
(peow-peow! zap-zap!)
Through the stars they weave and soar,
Saving Christmas like never before!
Just the one version today. That's lovely
Xmas number one!!

Int. Dave's Kitchen
[Dave stands before his Cola-fridge, which is quite obviously packed with cans. Green watches from the kitchen doorway]
Dave: If I just move these vintage cans to the top shelf...
Green: Dave, that turkey is not going to fit.
Dave: You underestimate my can-organising abilities!
Green: You do have two fridges. Why not use the normal one?
Dave: Because Pappy Cola-Fridge volunteered! Besides, Mr Fridge is very particular about poultry.
[Dave starts carefully rearranging cans]
Dave: Look, if I stack these limited editions vertically...
Green: They'll fall over.
Dave: No they won't. They're supporting each other. They're one big happy cola-can family.
[Several cans clatter to the floor]
Dave: Except the New Coke.
Green: At least they didn't dent.
Dave: *hugging the cans* Shhh, you're safe now. You'll never have to leave the Cola shelves.
Green: The turkey's starting to drip.
[Dave looks at the turkey, then at his beloved Cola-fridge]
Dave: Maybe Pappy Cola-Fridge isn't ready for this responsibility.
Green: Finally, sense prevails.
Dave: I'll ask Mr Standard Fridge if he'll help! He's been looking for more responsibility.
Green: *muttering* At least he has the space...
[Dave ceremonially carries the turkey to his other fridge]
Dave: Mr Standard Fridge, I have a special Christmas mission for you!
[Dave opens the standard fridge. It's full of coke bottles.]
Dave: Squeeze up, everyone. We've a visitor!
Green: Are you going to comfort the kitchen appliances all day, or shall we tackle the vegetable situation?
Dave: What vegetable situation?
Green: The ones you haven't bought yet.
[End credits]
