When I last touched the hexagon game, I could move my little counter willy-nilly all around the board, and there were no limits.
No, no. There were no limits.
Today I'll get the pop-o-matic function into the game, and see if I originally bothered to code "individual dice value" variables into there, because I'm going to need those.
I'm sure I could hack the values out, if I didn't.
Gosh, it's been a long time since I used the pop-o-matic function. I hope it still works!
..
Did I even add two-dice rolling to the pop-o-matic?
Crikey, I'm not sure I did.
Hmm.
Anyway, once that's done, it's time to do some proper work on those cards.
Rolling, Movement, then cards.
A plan of action.
Let's Hexagon!!!
We're going back, back, back (yeah)
Back into the world of the Hexagons.
(Hexagons!)
We're getting ready, (yeah, ready)
To be running all around the maze.
(A maze full of hexagons)
[verse]
Be sure to bring your hat. (take a hat)
And a lovely pair of gloves. (for your hands)
So that we can run around on a maze full of hexagons.
(Woo, woo)
(Hexagons)
[break]
-=-=-
[chorus]
We're going back, back, back (yeah)
Back into the world of the Hexagons.
(Hexagons!)
We're getting ready, (yeah, ready)
To be running all around the maze.
(A maze full of hexagons)
[break]
[bridge]
It's a wooden wonderland where the numbers point the way,
To wherever we can journey every day. (tra la la la la la laa)
Roll the dice, move around, land yourself upon a gem,
And if you can find the right card. You can move again. (woo!)
(You got a bonus! Yeah!)
[break]
[outro]
We're going back, back, back (yeah)
Back into the world of the Hexagons.
(Hexagons!)
We're getting ready, (yeah, ready)
To be running all around the maze.
(A maze full of hexagons)
-=-=-
Come along with me, (come along)
We can journey through the hexagons.
(Hexagons!)
Reach the goal, (get to the end)
Let's celebrate! (Weeeee)

Int. Dave's Living Room - Morning
[The vending machine from yesterday stands disconnected, with Dave wheeling in trolleys of different Cola varieties]
Dave: More variables! We need more variables!
Green: Variety is not equal to Variable.
Dave: Every difference in bubble accuracy might raise the power of the Colanary methodology. Just imagine how precise the floating point numbers might be when it uses Diet Coke.
[Dave starts loading bottles frantically]
Dave: Regular Cola for integers, Cherry for emergency debugging.. We've even got Coke Zero for when we want to do oldskool binary.
Green: Have you considered using Pepsi?
Dave: [stunned] DON'T YOU EVEN!!!
Green: Sorry! Sorry!
[Dave continues stocking while muttering]
Dave: Caffeine-free for sleep mode. Windows needs all the help it can get for that. Vanilla for string variables...
Lady Computer: *"WARNING: Multiple Cola varieties detected"*
Dave: That's the point! It's like RAM, but fizzy!
Green: And sticky. Don't forget sticky.
[Dave suddenly stops, holding a Lemon Cola]
Dave: Nobody likes Lemon.
Green: I dunno, I quite like it. It's chilling.
Dave: This one can be for error handling!
Green: The whole system is an error, Dave.
Dave: No, no - it just needs more varieties! Maybe some foreign Cola, so it can handle international characters...
Green: I don't think that's how that works.
Dave: Do they do Emoji Coke?
[Dave starts reconnecting wires]
Dave: OK.. Ready for test number two! Now with 57% more Cola varieties!
Green: Better warn Mr Heinz.
Dave: Don't be silly. There's no beans in here, Greenie.
Green: Should I call the hospital now or wait until after you've hit the enter key?
Dave: Have faith in the fizz, Greenie!
