I'll be honest, the maths is still kinda baffling in places, but for the most part it seems to be working.
It was more of a "lets just change the numbers until things look right" sort of fix, more than a "I know what the problem is.. Tada!" kind of thing, but .. Results don't lie!
.. That's a lie. Results often lie, and just when you think you've figured something out, blammo, out pops an unexpected bug, because you didn't code the thing "properly"
I think we should be ok, here, though. At the very least, it should last enough to be a complete level without falling to pieces.
Now, quite what that game is, that's anyone's guess.
The level has no foundation, and the world has no logic. You can make holes in the tilemap, and um..
Then fall I guess?
You can also walk through the land, something I really need to fix.
I should probably add jumping, but that might make things feel a bit "too" worms like.
.. Or is that what I'm going for, here?
I'm not sure.
There's no other enemies to target, nor is there a lot of anything, if I'm honest.
*shrugs*
I'm sure something will pop into my head. I do still have ... today, to code the entire gameplay.
Yeah, I can do that.
This'll be a breeze!

I'm not sure where to take this game,
But a grand adventure, that's my aim.
I'm gonna try my best to not let this,
Turn into a search for some Floppy Disks.
(Yeah!)
[verse]
I don't know where this game will go.
Is this a level? Is there a goal.
Is the exit above, or below.
Which way should I go, I don't know.
(No!)
[bridge]
Experimentation with the game's situation,
Leap all over the place, and fall flat on your face.
I'm not sure if there's a goal, or any story to tell,
But if you flying through the sky, then, well I guess you can yell.
(woo!)
Ext - Church Field
[A slightly damp Church field. Rain patters intermittently. Dave adjusts the layout of some ScrunchCakes, sitting beneath an umbrella on the wooden table]
Dave: Right, Greenie, are the ScrunchCakes adequately protected from atmospheric moisture? We wouldn't want a soggy situation.
Green: They'll be fine, Dave. It's only a bit of rain.
Dave: Looks like the heatwave's properly over, now, huh.
Vicar: [walks over to the stall] A most welcome change! The lawns have been particularly struggling, this year.
Green: Good morning, Father. How's the churchy things doing, today?
Vicar: Church is going well, thank you. Where's Mrs Thompson, this morning?
Green: She didn't want to stand out in the cold. I think she's in the church, today.
Dave: Shirking work, as usual.
Vicar: I've told you before, David, this is just friendly bakes, it isn't work.
Dave: Not even the limited edition ScrunchCakes? They require a certain reverence, and are particularly hard work to make.
Vicar: Which are those?
Dave: Well, um. I didn't make any. But I could do.
[A customer approaches the stall hesitantly.]
Customer: Do you have any of those nice chocolate ones from last week?
Dave: No, they're all baked fresh.
Green: I think he means fresh ones, but the same as last week.
[Dave looks the customer in the eyes. .. The customer nods in agreement.]
Vicar: He's a Church-goer, not a Customer.
Dave: [Beaming] Absolutely! We have a curated selection of classic and obscure ScrunchCakes. May I suggest the Caramel Swirl as a secondary choice?
Green: [Muttering to Vicar] Heβs going to scare everyone away.
Vicar: I'm always surprised how often people return to his stall.
[Whilst digging out a Chocolate ScrunchCake for the church-goer, Dave notices a bleeping from the solar panel of his portable fridge.]
Dave: [Concerned] Oh dear. The solar input is suboptimal.
Green: I told you, it's just not the weather any more.
Dave: [whispers to the fridge] It'll be ok. You won't be wasted. We'll use you in the staff room.
Green: [To the customer] Sorry about that. Heβs particular about his appliances.
[The rain picks up slightly.]
Dave: [Panicked] The moisture levels! We must activate the dehumidifier!
