A few hats, and a lot of music..

Developments

I spent most of yesterday doing rendering of my music.
The Korg Gadget iOS App gives you an option to Export to Dropbox, with the resulting file being a high-quality 44100, 16bit stereo uncompressed .wav file of your choon.
Exporting all 26 choons of an Album takes a fair bit of time, seeing as the iPad has to upload these giant wav files up to DropBox.

Once uploaded to DropBox, they're then re-downloaded to the PC. I could, of course, do it via exporting to the app's "files", then plugging the iPad into the PC and getting them via iTunes, but I'd rather wrangle with the slow speed of up/downloads than attempt to make any progress with bloody iTunes on Windows!!!

After that, it's a case of loading the wav files into Cool Edit (or your own chosen audio editor) chopping off the silence at the end of the track, making sure they're all normalized, then saving them back out.
Next up, open Archive.org and upload those raw .wav files directly. Archive.org does all the compression stuff, in a variety of formats, so if the user would prefer .oggs, .mp3s, .flac or the original .wavs, they're all available, which is nice.

After all that, the uploads are done, and with any luck, the Al Bum should exist there for many years to come, alongside the other 3 recent Korg Gadget based albums, and the old Sheep Goes Left ones, too!

You can Listen to Liquid here.

... I also made a few more hats, but otherwise made no extra progress on NeonPlat. Yesterday was all about the music!

Daily Doodle : Friend or Foe

Platdude's stumbled upon a new creature in the grasslands.
He isn't sure whether it's friendly or not, but it sure does have some big teeth.
Eeek!

Mailbag : Empty

If you'd like to stuff my mailbag, (Please do!) you can do so right here, at https://bit.ly/AGAW_Mail . Send comments, questions, game ideas, thoughts and more, and they'll probably turn up here, eventually.
