I should really finish off Mancala's "Laps" stuff. I think that's probably going to be today's task.

But after that, what game comes next?

With each game, I've been slowly building up the general functionality of the engine, such that larger games will be more workable on the site.
One of the main targets I've been aiming to get working has been a sequel to my old "The Quest" game. (Which was, of course, based on the classic HeroQuest)

This requires all manner of additional items, like pictures for cards and weapons, extra sprites for characters and monsters, and more. However, the "Asset Loader" seems to be holding up really rather well.

The Asset Loader is in charge of loading additional spritesheets when needed.. The Snakes And Ladders game was my initial test of this function, with it's large board art being a giant asseet, but since then it's been reused for quite a lot of games. Ludo, Crossword Game, Board of Spikes and more, have all made use of a single multi-purpose "Asset1" spritesheet.

Card content images, special board items, characters and more, should all theoretically be doable from a new Asset spritesheet, and oughta help make the game look a little unique.
On top of that, however, I'd like to add the ability to do a similar thing, but with sounds. So, each game (when necessary) can have a special set of sounds to play with.
A sequel to The Quest will probably require some monstrous roars and other such sounds. .. I think!
Those will require extra audio work to get working correctly.

I'll probably look into ways of doing that, today.
