AL's currently playing at the level of "Beating Me Often", but it's been a LONG time since I played Chess, and I'm really not all that good!

I can already see a few tweaks that I can make.
He isn't protecting his King very well, but he also isn't afraid to charge right into battle and take whatever pieces might be nearby.

There's other little rules, though.
I forgot all about Castling until I found myself trying to do it, just now, and went "Aaah.. I haven't added that!"
The whole "Don't Move into Checkmate" is also a rule I need to add, as well as getting AL to realise when his King is in check, and try to stop that.

... So, yeah, there's a lot more to work at, but it is at least vaguely playable.
