2009 (2008!) - Puzzobomb

Hmm..
So far, I've been stumbling upon these games, and being shocked by how old all of them are.
Today's game is the opposite. I could've sworn it was older than that!
It certainly feels like I've remade Puzzobomb enough times that it'd be older, so I double checked.
Yup, I got a date wrong in the archive!
Puzzobomb is, in fact, from 2008, according to the files contained within the zip, thus making it five years old, today!

I can't be bothered fiddling with the database to fix that, though, so we'll pretend it's from 2009 instead!

Puzzobomb is a simple remake of the classic Taito puzzle game Puzznix (/Puzznic?), which sees you shifting coloured blocks around the maze to match them up.
It's a simple enough premise, but it always irritated me that every clone out there takes things much too seriously, and reduces the fun arcade experience into a shitty dull slow moving "block-at-a-time" uninteresting dull-a-thon.
I kept things flowing, instead, by letting the player grab blocks and swiftly swoosh them around the arena, whilst keeping the original rules intact.
It's worked out quite nice.

Then I added a bomb, 'cos .. you know.. I might as well add a bomb!!
