Each day, we trawl through the archive to find games which have been previously released on this day in history.

Some days, there are no games.

Other days there are oddball crazy quickly cobbled together gameplay experiments.

And then, some days, there are real gold games.

The games that stay with you, and can be just as enjoyable many years later.

2010 - JNKPlat 2010

JNKPlat is a game I created in college. I fell in love with it's half-Platformer, half-puzzle gameplay, and have constantly remade the game over and over again, in various languages over the years, slowly building up new enhancements and gameplay opportunities.

This latest edition includes a number of new features, including lovely smooth animation, and lovely chunky high definition low-res graphics.

The game is as frantic as ever, and some block-precision jumping is required to complete most of the many levels on offer.

A culmination of years worth of gradual enhancements has brought JNKPlat to a fantastically playable standard.
This is as good as it gets, or at least it is until I bother to do it all over again!
