Over on SoCoder we've been having a photography month, taking photos each day based on a given word in the calendar that I posted at the start of the month.

Woke up at 2am, wide awake, and couldn't get back to sleep. What else could I do? To the code box!!!

Maybe it's my body's way of saying "You've done enough physical exertion for this week." Or perhaps it's all the dust from moving DVDs off a shelf that haven't been touched in a year?

This time last year, I was knee deep in reorganising my bedroom.

Looks like I did nothing, yesterday, but trust me when I say I did at least do a whole lot of everything!!

Much as expected, yesterday was a bit of a waste of a day. Being woken up by the cat at 2:30am lead to a day of mostly sitting about in a bit of a dazed half-asleep state, and zero coding got done!

Ugh You know when you have one of those days.. The ones where you can't seem to focus at all, and can't get much of anything done.

I spent about an hour yesterday working on a new version of the site's Jukebox, before ultimately giving up with what I was doing and scrapping it all. .. hmm..

Over on the Centipong DS post, Jefferson just popped on over (4 years after his last comment) and asked about the music.

Yesterday I once more asked the AI for some suggestions for the game I'm currently working on, and it came up with a couple of crazy thoughts that I never would have considered.

That came together well enough, though I did experience one vague moment of insanity yesterday..

A week well spent, But the job isn't complete, And there's more games to write For AGameAWeek!!

Still haven't posted this week's SoCoder newsletter, but it's about 95% done, and raring to go! Once that's done, everything else on the todo list is done, and I'm ready to focus on the two games I need to write by Sunday! Sorted!!!

Oh no, I've been neglecting everything else again! Here comes a day of utter chaos!!

In all my years of making so many many many games, I've usually written code in such different languages that the ability to copy huge chunks of code and paste it into a newer version of a project, in a different language, is well and truly beyond the capabilities of the various languages.
