I'm taking a day off from H~S~R today, thinking ahead for next weeks game, which may/may not be a word game.. not sure..
Anyhoo, there are bugs, and Swarmer found a couple, so head inside to have a good read about 'em.

Q's&A's&Points with Swarmer!
Nice job! The backgrounds look really nice. I like crazy echoes the best. You should make one where everything glows; just have the sprites light colored, even almost white, and have the glow define its color.
OK, I'll make some kind of "OMG!GLOW!" set of textures, might do the trick, although i'm not too sure how Blitz'll cope with a whole extra bunch of sprites to draw.
Not that it's slow at drawing sprites on poly's and rendering them, mind.. .. It's all the dang lines it's drawing that's slowing things down! (2D's not too great in Blitz!)
And the buffer->texture stuff, too, that's a bit overwhelming!
Kinda went crazy on effects, so the actual stuff I CAN do, is limited somewhat.
Oh, and due to the buffer sprite blur crazy stuff, here's why I hadn't done that previously!
This is a brief (1.6Mb gif!) example of what happens when I change the number 0.02 to 0.05 in the buffer's alpha setting.
The game's nice, but it took AGES to stop it from doing that every time!
I tried to keep the "really bright" colours down a wee bit
There were a few times where the next round wouldn't start even though I was sure I killed everyone. I think an enemy snuck off the screen and got stuck?
Yeah, I've noticed that, too, having now actually getting time-out to play the dang thing!.. Not sure why it does that, I'll have a nosey..
Bloody rapid-fire game-dev! Doesn't give you time to play your own games!
Also, I played in full screen mode, and the score and badges got cut off and I couldn't see them. I just read about the badges now, but now I can't see what the badge-earn effect looks like, since it won't let me reset my badges.
I'll pop in a Badge Reset Button, if you'd like.
But the effect's nothing major. Shows Platdude bottom left, and a bit of text to let you know what you got.
Even deleting the game didn't fix it.
Deleting the game will no longer remove your save. Mua-ha-haa!
Save games are now (with any luck) stored in %AppData% or %ProgramFiles% (Use Winkey+R then that %thing% to open up the folder)
All saves are stored in a single file, so I guess we do kinda need some sort of reset button for scores and things.
I'll do that!
The reason for shoving it all in there, is so we can keep track of all your badges.
I mentioned the other day, that this would be the early release, with a proper Badge-ful version later.
I'm still kinda working on bits and pieces of the badge mechanics, but essentially, it'll allow the Tab-Screen to flick through ALL the AGameAWeek games (from this point on!), and display all kinds of fun little things, like which badges you've missed out on, and things like that.
Woot!
Since it's doing all that, I also got it to remember whether you like games Fullscreen, and it'll even keep your name, too! Yeay!
I hope you get the music working soon; that was a big part of what made the first HS a memorable experience.
Me too.... *sigh*
