Aaaah, Rain! Rain and cold and windy! Go, Britain!!

The weather was back to being normal again.
A typical british summer of wind, rain, clouds, a bit of sun, 23c at a good point and 18c at a low.
That's how summers are supposed to be, around here.
Not scorching endless sun. This isn't Ibiza, or Tenerife.. It's Britain. Home of the Wellington Boot, and cones of chips that get soggy because it's always raining.
Yeah!!!

You put your washing out on the line because it's looking nice and sunny, and have to bring it in 3 minutes later because there's thunder and lightning, and a torrential downpour.
That's British weather.
That's proper weather!

I can code in this.

We left most of the doors closed, the windows were shut, the curtains were open to let in the dreariness, and overall it was a day for sitting indoors, laptop on your knees, and a glowing screen full of code.

Oh, Britain! Never change.
We know you are, but please don't ever do that again.
..
Ever!!

It's threatening to do it again, later on this week, so I'd better see if I can write about half-a-dozen games over the next day or two.

Fruit Bowl

The fruit bowl game, (the name of which used to be "Banana Bowl Blast" but that's seemingly far and away from the current game) went in a weird direction yesterday, and I'm not really sure what direction that is.
Perhaps it's the direction of "I'm cooling down!!"

There's still fruit, there's still a bowl, and there's still a spinning wheel.
But, quite what the goal is, I'm still not 100% sure.
Though it "feels" like it needs enemies, and you throwing the fruit at the enemies, I kinda feel like I've done that 100 times before. .. And very likely have!
I'm not really sure what the alternative might be, though.
It's a very odd fruit bowl.

It's only Monday, and I might yet release it at some point this week.
But then I have another 2 games to code this month, and if I can't figure this one out, there's not an awful lot of hope for the next two games!

Guess we're just going to have to wing it, this month.
Hold on tight. Could be a rough ride!
