That's 31 games out of 34 weeks, so far.
I'm doing fairly well, though I have skipped a number of games this year. Sorry about that
But, hey, I reckon that's ok, right?
At least we haven't hit the point where the AI's writing the games yet! You'll probably know when that happens, as I'll likely have 10 minutes in the day to play No Man's Sky again!!!
Which reminds me, there's been a big update for that, recently. I really should find some time to try it out..
[verse]
She wakes me up so early.
Wide awake it's time for food.
Scratching at my bed, she wakes my head,
And now it's time for morning time.
[chorus]
do doo do-do. Time for morning
do doo do. It's time to waken up.
doo do-do. Start my day
Do doo do-do. Get up, today.
do doo do-do. Bright and early
do doo do. Alarm is ringing.
doo do-do. Come on, now.
Do doo do-do. Wake up, hurray.
[break]
[pre-verse]
Waking up (Waking up)
[verse]
The day has started, nearly.
The sun is rising, slowly.
I shave my head and brush my teeth,
And now it's time for morning.
[chorus]
do doo do-do. Time for morning
do doo do. It's time to waken up.
doo do-do. Start my day
Do doo do-do. Get up, today.
do doo do-do. Bright and early
do doo do. Alarm is ringing.
doo do-do. Come on, now.
Do doo do-do. Wake up, hurray.
[break]
[pre-verse]
Good morning all. (Good morning)
[verse]
I'm up and had my coffee.
My mind is now alert and ready.
Time to start the things I need to do,
Or maybe go back for a nap.
[chorus]
do doo do-do. Time for morning
do doo do. But I'm still asleep.
doo do-do. Start my day
Do doo do-do. But I'm so comfy.
do doo do-do. I didn't sleep well.
do doo do. For three short hours.
doo do-do. I need more sleep.
Do doo do-do. It isn't going well.
doo do-do. My head's a mess.
do doo do. I can't think straight
doo do-do. It's still too early
Do doo do-do. This isn't great.
doo do-do. I am not coping.
do doo do. Alarm's still ringing
doo do-do. Let me sleep.
Do doo do-do. Go back to bed.
Decorations
Int. Dave's Games and ScrunchCakes - Shop Floor
[Mrs Thompson and Barbara are hanging tartan banners, after the shop's closed]
Mrs Thompson: A little higher on your end. We don't want it getting in the way of the Arcade Scoreboard display.
Barbara: [reaching higher] We need bigger step-ladders.
Mrs Thompson: Don't suggest anything of the sort to Dave, he'll probably spend three months trying to construct an Optimal Decoration Placement device!
Barbara: It'll probably shoot the decorations out, or something.
Mrs Thompson: Ok, how's it looking now?
Barbara: Seems great from my end.
Mrs Thompson: I'm really looking forward to the Scrunch Around Britain. I think it might be great for custom.
Barbara: Do you think he'll keep doing that Pirate voice?
Mrs Thompson: He'd better not. I'm already sick of it, and the week hasn't even started yet.
[Dave emerges from the kitchen wearing a kilt and carrying a stepladder]
Dave: [singing] There's nae party atmosphere...
Barbara: Oh no, he's singing now.
Dave: Just getting into the spirit! Aye haggis bagpipes. We need more excitement in here!
Mrs Thompson: The decorations are quite enough excitement.
Dave: Should we put up some flashing lights?
Barbara: Why would we put up flashing lights?
Dave: These would be Scottish flashing lights!
Mrs Thompson: There's no such thing as Scottish flashing lights.
Dave: [in Connery voice] That'sh what you shthink!
[Green enters, carrying a disco ball]
Green: Are you sure about this?
Barbara: Oh my god. Where did that come from?
Dave: For atmosphere!!
Barbara: We're doing Scotland, not Saturday Night Fever.
Dave: But what about Scottish dancing? That's a thing, right?
Mrs Thompson: Not with a disco ball and flashing lights, David.
Dave: [back to pirate voice] Yarr, but the customers love a good show!
Barbara: [to Mrs Thompson] Should we be worried about Monday?
Mrs Thompson: I worry every day.
