I went through the second album of looping, yesterday.

AL'S Bum is the first album I attempted, using FL Studio. Something that I later abandoned in favour of the comfort of using KORG Gadget on an iPad.
Oddly, I never could quite get the hand of FLStudio on iOS.. It just didn't work as comfortably as KORG Gadget could.

Anyway, I went though and added all the loops that were necessary, but there's a couple of places where I couldn't quite get the loop-jump to feel as clean as I'd've liked.
Nearly all of these involved lyrics, so whilst a lot of my music is thankfully void of lyrics, there are the last 4 or 5 (or is it 6 or 7?) ALBums where I started using Emvoice to sing along.
I expect those tracks are going to be harder to work through, because of the loop joints not lining up quite well.
We'll see, I suppose. It'll be bloomin' ages, at this rate, before I reach them.

I think we've officially lost this week's Shoebox game..?
My head's stuck in a "Achievements are Fun!" mindset, doing the new SmileBASIC framework.


I mean, come on, who wouldn't want to code things like that!!!

Much more exciting than a grid of lines and a game that feels a bit too much like "Dots and Squares". So, I think we'll say "Game Abandoned" on the Shoebox game, and just plough ahead with getting new features done on everything, instead.

It's time to come up with a word/phrase for September.. At this point, the word "finish" might be a good idea!! But what say you?
