The sprawling insanity of choosing a new path is insane!!!

Got the majority of Monday's AGameAWeek Proper done, last night.

I tried multiple times to get yesterday's Otakupunk Advent Calendar musical piece up and running, but nothing good came of any of it.

Good grief, yesterday went down a giant hole of insanity!!
.. Shame it wasn't anything to do with the house move, really.

Good grief, weekends are awful. Nothing happens!!!

Since it's AGameAWeek's 15th anniversary, I decided to get Bing to ask me some interview questions, that I could fill out for fun.

Oh boy, 15 years has really flown by!

I'm not currently doing AGameAWeek Proper, or SmileBASIC games, or ...
..Oh good grief, I'm not coding anything!!!

Well, guess it's time to unpack, then!

That came together well enough, though I did experience one vague moment of insanity yesterday..

Today's task is to come up with a music video about chocolate chips. Not sure why the little ditty went down that route, but where the melody takes me, that's where I go!!

2022's come and gone, and it's certainly been eventful.

18th is done, and I'm halfway through working on the 19th.

Amadeus Pro is (temporarily) broken!

What began as a temporary thing has most certainly stood the test of time, though it did have a complete rewrite 5 years ago to keep things running as smoothly as anything I've written can run.

My Aunt needs a new laptop, but doesn't necessarily need anything too powerful.

The JSE Collision stuff is an absolute mess, right now!

Spent hours yesterday trying to wrangle the level generator for Flappadiddle on the Amiga.

Started something Tetris'y, last night.

Yesterday's attempt to play No Man's Sky using RemotePlay on my iPad, for any decent amount of time, left me ranting and raving at Apple again.

This one went a little further than previous attempts, but the giant sidebar wasn't that great, and the way the blogs were being formatted looked ugly as heck.

Trying out a new method of insanity, this time. There are pink pickups to grab, and also the occasional explosive device which will cause extra challenges along the way.
Other than that, the rules are the same.
Pop the Popcorn, and try to survive.

I hope that everyone's doing OK, and that you're all safe in your houses, locked away from the evils outside.
As the Coronavirus continues to spread in insane numbers, it's important to look after yourself, and also your loved ones.
Do what you can to help those nearby, from a safe distance, and be sure to wash with alarming frequency.
I'll continue to do what I do, and although it's not really useful for society, I at least hope that my insanity brings a smile to a few...

A decade is over, and what have I done?
373 games, created a new blogging script for here, rewritten the Socoder forum, started a few new sites and more!
Oh, and a brain tumour!
It's been a wild and crazy decade, and over the next few days I'll be looking back at the best (and worst) games from the decade.

I think the schedule for 2020 might be slightly different than the absolute insanity that I've been doing the past few months.
