Let's see what @RSKGames thinks of this weeks game!
You can Download Franken Hopper here.
@RSKGamesOverview: In Franken Hopper you Hop and catch the flying creatures and avoid the blazing flames from the statues to the side and the fireballs from the big statue's eyes. After each game's release, I get a huge influx of opinions and thoughts from a variety of different people.
Let's look at RSKGame's thoughts for this week's game!
You can Download Micro Clampett here.
@RSKGamesI remember playing Mini Clampett last year. It is a very addictive game and as it was the first game to get the online scoreboard feature, lot of competition was there to get the highscores. I tried the hard mode today and got nowhere near top 5 highscores, the huge...Views 238, Upvotes 41

This week's game is the lovely neon shooter, On a Space Shooting Trail
RSKGamesLast year I played one the NeonPlat games and marveled at the neon graphics style. This game has the same style but the way the looks is achieved seems to have matured a lot. Using the new framework some crafty blending techniques have been used to convert the simple white s...Views 294, Upvotes 52

That Darned Mouse!
Blog
3rd December 2017
Mouse, and of course, touchscreen.
They both took a bit of a tumble, last night.
The overscan seemed to be working, but I was only testing it with controllers, since the overscan is typically only used on Android TV versions of the games.
Yesterday, however, I chose to reuse the overscan functions on iOS.

I need to add a bunch of default options to the menu, for generic functions like Fullscreen, Debugmode, Overscan and things like that.
However, I also need to consider future projects, too.

So, after having read up on URL access for a couple of hours, I managed to get about 0% through it, yesterday.
I might actually end up trying to find a proper book on the subject, and having a good focused read-through. .. Although I imagine any book would probably focus on Win/Linux, and not the cross-platform usage I'm after.
I've really coded myself into a pickle, here!

This week's game is Sheep Goes Right
RSKGamesOverview: A totally different AGAW game in terms of art style and music but with the familiar mix of twist to the gameplay mechanics and attention to detail. A pleasant surprise is that the game is not endless, it has finite levels and ends with ''...Views 266, Upvotes 51

Fish?!

I drew and animated a fish, last night.
Granted, a fish isn't that hard to draw, or animate, but after a "What game can I do next" session, that seemed like a good idea.

Tonight I gave Flappadiddle a quick test on iOS.
I've expanded the "ground" on either side, making them slightly taller and wider.
This is where your thumbs will go whilst playing the game.
Unfortunately, they're still a little "too" close to the bottom of the screen, and weird "iOS Slider" glitches are occurring.
You can see at about 35 seconds into the v...

Let's see what people thought of Bug destruction!
RSKGamesGame Overview: In a randomly generated level infested with a small number of big green bugs and lot of smaller white bugs the player is a floating exploding bomb. Using just 3 bombs per level the player has to kill all the green bugs to progress to the next level.Views 166, Upvotes 71

Each week, players send their notes on that week's release.
Let's take a peek at their comments, and share some random thoughts, too!
RSKGamesInitial Thoughts: Looking at the screenshots during the development I felt the game is going to be a fun flying game like "Flapaddidle" but the use of a bird and the background are the only similarities between the 2 games. The gameplay is totally different game. In this game the bird can only fly or dive once per key press no flapping around.Views 235, Upvotes 47

I figured I should give a brief explanation as to how I'm generating the levels in RetroRaider.
This might become a regular series, so if you find this stuff interesting, be sure to let me know in the comments or email or twitter or whatever..
For RetroRaider, the map is split into an 8x8 grid, and each of those are split into a top and bottom. For the sake of making things easier on myself, I decided to make an 8x16 grid.
