Yesterday my new NAS turned up. I bought a Western Digital "My Cloud", and instantly disabled the My Cloud gubbins. An NAS is enough. I don't leave the house enough to warrant external access! So it all got setup, and then I did some quick file-access tests. The thing is roughly 3 or 4 times faster than my previous Buffalo Linkstation is, so it should make backing up of files a lot quicker, as well as those occasions when I copy a folder from the PC to the NAS, then to the Ma...

Aaah, iTunesConnect. When Invisible Munky 2 launched, the other day, I noticed something odd in my iTunesConnect pages. Where there's usually a "Request Promo Codes" link, there was none. Basically, I can't give away Promo Codes for my iOS games, because I can't bloomin' well get any codes in the first place. Last night, I decided to open up my old projects. Over the past couple of years, my iOS releases reduced to practically nothing, yet I still built up an alarming number of games over the weeks. So.. GooglePlay... I vowed never to return, but am already being bombarded by people meithering about the Android version of SpikeDislike3. The Story So Far Jayenkai created SpikeDislike2, and figured it'd be nice to get that onto GooglePlay. If there's one thing I hate, it's waiting for stuff!! I'm a very impatient person, and have gotten used to things moving along at a fast AGameAWeek-like pace. Not a lot of progress, yesterday. A LOT of stuff happened, but nothing substantial enough that I can show it off! I started adding background layers to SpikeDislike3, but at the minute it's all nasty looking temporary art. I'm quite surprised, however, that it worked as well as it did in the Faux-3D mode. Mmm.. .. Sorry, I haven't suddenly added them. Instead, I've made this post in the hopes of starting a discussion on the feasibility of adding scoreboards to future AGameAWeek titles. It's something I've attempted in the past, and old versions of Microbes, Spider and others still kind-of, mostly, sort of work. But there's a few issues that are stopping me from integrating it into the current framework.
