There's now a version of SpikeDislike, over at SoCoder.net, which has integrated online highscores.

I've changed how the sprite sheets for SpikeDislike.com are organised, so I can cram a little more into a single image.

After working on SpikeDislike VR for a little bit, I found myself reaching for the Switch... Two hours later, after a lot of aimless rambling, I finally set down the Switch edition of No Man's Sky and decided to head back to work on SpikeDislike.

Good grief, this isn't going as well as I'd hoped..

Time to switch up my art tool on MacOS. As much as I've enjoyed using Pixelmator Pro, it's becoming more and more a Photo tool, and no longer suitable for pixelart and sprites.

I tried to get a few things happening, yesterday, but my head's in a weird "must keep watching things on the news" mood.

What began as a temporary thing has most certainly stood the test of time, though it did have a complete rewrite 5 years ago to keep things running as smoothly as anything I've written can run.

I've added a new Question of the Day section to SoCoder. I say added.. The section's been there for about a decade, but has been mostly unused.

The Quest isn't going to magic itself into existence overnight, so I might have to come up with some kind of emergency game in the meantime, or there'll be no games to post this week!

One of the main things putting me off doing a new version of The Quest is that my art style sucks when drawing anything larger than a 32x32 pixel image. Sheep Goes Right was an absolute fluke!!

Opted to call my sprite editor "SpriTed", to go along with the Blitz editor which is called "Ted".. I'm imaginative, like that..

Little carts (Gameboy, GBA, DS, 3DS, Switch) have all been dumped into a treasure chest.

A nice new addition to JSE (I think?) is the idea of Templates.
