As the new year starts, it seems that a few members at SoCoder are starting to pick up JSE for the purpose intended. That of "It's a simple quick language to help convey thoughts and ideas."

With over 90 games written in a year, it's time to look back on some of the highlights from the past 365 days, and see what joys have been created.

Honestly, I shouldn't be having days off, when I've got a rapidly approaching Advent Calendar deadline! .. And yet..

Coding away, as is the norm.. It got to about 2am before I remembered I had to write this week's SoCoder newsletter. Oops!

I started work on a Golf game for SmileBASIC, yesterday.

Mum's iPad finally conked out, yesterday.

I might have to add a bomb...

Collect the stars to build up a boost, as you ride your minecart to the goal. Gather the stars, then score at the end. A nice little highscore challenge.

I haven't really worked on JSE all that much for the past week or so...

I DID plan on doing a "Generic Snake Game" in SmileBASIC, this week, but with all the time I spent playing WarioWare, I've had to postpone that and tackle something simpler.. .. than Snake!!
