I tried, today, but I just wasn't quite into it once the game started to build up. Today's unfinished game, Unknown.....!

PlayMyCode games no longer work

The game didn't ever really have a heart. It started well, but it just kinda puttered out after just an hour or two. The game remains unfinished, expecting some sort magical experience, but n...

Unfinished Or, to put it another way, this game got to about 70% done, I got really stupidly bored with it, I lost interest, and I still bothered to get it to about 92%. At 92%, I gave up. Here's a game at 92%.

Time to pick a new Jingle. I'm thinking that Year 3 should be marked, slightly, by tweaking the intro jingle a little, so I've gathered together a handful, and popped them all here.

By now you've probably routed around inside the JayArchive. It's a nice thing to flick through, but sometimes folk can't be bothered to download 150+ seperate little downloads. So, rather than leave it up to random picking, here's 11 nice big zip files, with EVERYTHING for Windows. (up until today) Each big zip file is numbered with it's associated JayRank. Unzip it to explode all the amazing Jayenkai Contents! You'll find all the images and zip files that are contained within the JayArc, along wit...

Doing your homework on the back of the bus.. A crazy week of illness, busyness, and a party, have meant that this week's game had to be done.. .. um.. today! And, as you could probably guess. I ain't got Jack! There's still a game, though! Take a look inside to see what it is..

2008... Blog

( border="0">

Blimey! What a year, eh! I decided to round off the year with a nice big, old fashioned list, with everything in it. Except this doesn't have everything in it, because I've forgotten to add the DS games.. I'll do that later!! (Took me about 3 hours to do this, so I'm not going to tweak it, now!!) Anyway, here's a nice great big list of every game (again, apart from the DS ones) that I made in 2008. It's quite a big list, too.. 31 Games. OK, so maybe not a ...

Another week working on Alien Deathmatch means another week that I've not done AGameAWeek, so it's back into the big bag of failures to see if we can dig anything new out. No.. But, the lack of anything new, and finished, doesn't always mean nothing on this Blog.. Let's bring back the old "Experimental" tag from way back when, and show off a few random bits of unfinished garbage.

Another week, another pile of retro-mania! You get the idea by now, 6 extra games and the odd bugfix. I had to redo a lot of Tetris, this week, since I'd ballsed up quite a bit of it last week! But it's all working rather well now, so you can happily settle down to a nice long game on Extreme modem and it'll now actually get faster as you head up the levels! And the T shape's in it this week, too! The Joust game's as good as it should be, without being much more. There's ...

Week 22 of the Wednesday Workshop was Racing week. The first game I attempted was a UFO Fly game, the game you see entered.. But after I'd done that, I attempted a couple more engines. #1 was a mess, and never really got anywhere. It was a nice graphical effect, but nothing more than that. #2 however, was a Ball Bouncing AI Racing grand prix game! Here it is, as it sits on my hard drive. Unlike last week I haven't bother...

Workshop
19th June 2007
When I started doing Wed.Workshop, a few people complained that a week was too short a time, so in September 2005 I did the first and only Monthly Workshop. The Super September Challenge asked people to recreate a classic 8-bit game in a 16-bit style, and add some silly extras that people kept adding to games around that time. My entry was to be Super Dig Dug. It started off well enough, but then the sound started going all screwy, and I couldn't be bothered fixing it. So it was left to rot on my Har...
