I'm still not sure on the best layout for the frontend of the Shoebox.
I do like the circular bubbly thing, but there seems to already be way too much scrolling with only 5 games in a section.
Give me a year of working with this framework, and there'll be a lot more than 5! (Hopefully!)
So, the frontend definitely needs a rethink, but I'm not really sure what kind of layout WOULD work for it all.

In order to make the Bouncer format work properly, I'm going to need to give the player a different kind of control scheme.
I'm almost tempted to strip away the "constantly bouncing" form of the ball, and go for something more like Soccer Kid on the Amiga.

Over the past 30-odd hours, I've tried a boatload of languages, and although all seem capable in their own particular ways, none of them seem to do everything that I need them to do.
I'm still annoyed that GLBasic doesn't do sound-pitching.

Two years ago, I was riding high.
I was preparing to launch the biggest and (IMHO) best EVER version of SpikeDislike.
SpikeDislike3 was due to be, without a doubt, one of my most important releases EVER.
I'd put months of work into it, and if anyone knows me, they know that that's a HUGE amount of effort from me.

Way way way back in time, I got an Amiga 600 for Xmas.Loading up DPaint for the first time, I wanted to test how much I could do with it's animation feature.
DPaint IV had two animation modes. Full Frame or Compressed.  With compressed, as long as you stuck to minor changes, you could get a decent number of frames out of it.  In Full Frame mode, I could typically get 4 frames of animation!!  With the newfangled Mouse control, I scribbled a silly little 4 page cartoon.
