Each week, players send their notes on that week's release.
Let's take a peek at their comments, and share some random thoughts, too!

RSKGames

Initial Thoughts: Looking at the screenshots during the development I felt the game is going to be a fun flying game like "Flapaddidle" but the use of a bird and the background are the only similarities between the 2 games. The gameplay is totally different game. In this game the bird can only fly or dive once per key press no flapping aro...

Here's, approximately, the insane list of things that did/didn't happen, yesterday.
1. Compile first of about 40 games for the big OUYA Fixup. Went easy enough, and the new controls seem to work just fine.
Woot!

First up..
The SpikeDislike3 v1.5 update is LIVE on iOS.
This all new update includes a lovely new menu, portrait mode, Music-Loop option (albeit a bit naff!), the ability to slide your finger on the lefthand wiggly-bar to scroll through the menu quicker, an option to turn off the Parallax, a number of background fixings..

Lots of background work, yesterday, as I continued to work on the menu system.

So, I finally got an OUYA, and managed to get my first game into the OUYA store after a bit of tweaking.
Time to update my Framework!

Late last night, NeonPlat Raw appeared on the OUYA Dashboard for the very first time.
This is kind of a big deal, in that it's the first time one of my games has officially been released on an actual physical home-console.
True, it's not a "PROPER" console, but .. Hey, it's a box with a controller that plugs into my telly.
And it's got my games on it!

I'll try not to make a habit of making iOS Pay-For apps the "Weekend Retreat" thing, but there's something to be said for having decent iOS games that charge you upfront, rather than slamming adverts into your gameplay, and IAPs all over the damn place..
So.. Yeah.. If a game's good, it's good!!

Every Single Week

Not Good Advice

The following is not advice, and should not be taken as such.
People often ask me how I manage to do AGameAWeek. Particularly, how I manage to cram everything into a single week, and then somehow manage to do exactly the same thing every other week, without going crazy.
What follows might possibly help you understand a little more of what goes on in the world of AGameAWeek. Or it might just be a whole bunch of rambling waffling text.

<img src="https://socoder.net/AGAWGold_128.png" style="float:right;"> Every day, AGameAWeek Gold takes a peek through the inexplicably large collection of releases, and digs out any old games that I've previously released on this day in history.
Occasionally there aren't any. I'm not fast enough to have that many!
But other times, there's more than one!
How odd!

If you're a regular AGameAWeek follower, you'll probably be all too aware of the "It doesn't always work" rule.
For those that are new, here's a great example.

Too tired..
Instead, I've been working on Sheep Goes Left DS, which is proving 17,000,000,000% more popular than it's iOS rival.
Quite why, I don't know, but the fact that it's being mentioned quite a bit is a good sign.

A game? Again?
Yup! Made a (URL "https://www.playmycode.com/play/game/jayenkai/not-the-same">nice little mazey thing), where you have to trek around a random maze. The maze isn't hard, but it's one of those nice "harder if you don't do it right!" style of things that I have a knack of making.
Not sure why I keep doing those!
I just seem to like their insane difficulty!
Perhaps, in reality, my games are actually really really piss easy, and it's just me that keeps playing them wron...
