An ever so slightly shorter edition of this week's intended game, which almost didn't happen!! Nice and playable, although it's probably much more playable on Hard than on the other two levels!
This week sees the return of silly-name favourite Ted Bob, as he grabs an Amy Rose style hammer, and attacks oncoming crates.

54 games. Last year I only managed about 30-odd, so I think that's pretty good going.
Sure, it might not have truely actually been A Game "Per" Week, but I did at least keep the ratio up.
If I hadn't taken the time out to build the framework, I probably would've actually achieved the target a little better

Oh, blimey, what happened to my game!?!
Playing about with super smashy explodey effects, led to the inevitable conclusion that enemy bullets would be completely un-noticable.

So, rather than add any enemy, I stuck with the spinny things from the WarioWare game.

On Sunday we had a new bathroom fitted, during which time we discovered an old leak which had previously gone unnoticed. In what can only be described as "Water Timing" the leak decided to smash through part of our kitchen.
dangit.
So, this week, we've been busy doing house destruction, removing part of the ceiling, and preparing to get a whole new one.

Blinkin' eck!
Over the past 6/7 months, I've occasionally dipped into the mailbag and plucked out little snippets, but I figured it was about time I did a proper one.

Last week was Bonfire Night in the UK, and as such RetroRemakes.com had a little challenge. (They've started to do a monthly challenge..) Create a game/story/etc with Fireworks in it.

Sometimes you can start a game and it grows and grows and is wonderful.
Other times, you get about 10% through, and realise it's just not working out.
Game Idea 1
This week started with a word game. A decent enough idea, place the tiles in a scrabble-esque crossword style, and make words.

Idea : Sokoban-like game with hex-based grid.
OK, first off, not really sure what all the loving of Hexagons is about, but the word Hex is in the suggestion bag about 20-odd times!

A few weeks ago, someone who obviously hadn't played Centipong enough to enjoy it, decided to complain away on the comments.
Shitterwing's complaint was as follows

Now, I don't mind complaints, but there's two things wrong with that complaint.

A bizarre mismash of random thoughts this week, alongside an eventual plan of action, and only a day to impliment it!!

What happens when you take 2 classic Atari 2600 games, and stick them together?
Centipong mixes Centipede and Pong to create a really weird almost-psychedelic game.
Smash the ball at the Centipede repeatedly.
