A lot of elements are currently coming together, and things are getting a little more chaotic than I'd like them to be around Xmas time.
If the past 2 years of Xmas themed chaos (12 games of Xmas, Advent Collection) have taught me one thing, it's not to EVER plan anything around Xmas!
Presents, family visits and the general filling of my face with Xmas cake, will usually get in the way of the coding time, and as such I decided not to push myself into anything moronic this year.
I apologise...

Can't seem to make a start on things, this morning.
Woke up early, expecting the Window fitters to come and get that done.
Didn't happen.
Rescheduled for next week, which is probably too close to Xmas, so probably won't happen either..

ugh..
I need to make a calendar for the iOS edition.
The Win/Lin/Mac (WiLMa) edition is also a bit screwy, so we'll add "New Calendar" to the 2nd releases todo list.
Might as well see if I can code 2 things at once, then, and rework the calendars at the same time.

With only a matter of weeks left until 2012, I opened up Google Docs and created "AGameAWeek : Year Four", the Spreadsheet/Calendar!
Fun fact : The Olympics will be on from 27 July until 12 August. This may or may not be relevant!
I've filled a few interesting dates in, with themes and things. It should help to keep us a little bit on track, but if I'm honest, they're not BIG dates.. Just little things here and there.

3. That 4-pack thing I started ages ago, and still haven't finished yet. (Yeah, so much for the "make 4 quicky games" plan, there, Jay!)
4. I'm apparently not doing an Advent Calendar this year. Either that or I'm going to be really really late with it!!!

Yesterday was a bit of a missed day, again, as a weekend filled with iDev has left me worn out, and mentally exhausted.
AGAIN..
Quite why iDev always seems to do that is beyond me.
So, next year..?

No normal AGameAWeek this Tuesday, but worry not, there's still some games to be played!

Hmm.. I forgot to post a "This Week", and a "Suggestion Box", this week, didn't I.
One little tweak to my weekly schedule, and the whole thing goes to pot!
Today's Tuesday, and I won't (again) be posting AGameAWeek, and I'll be forwarding any complaints straight to my spam bin! 21 games, some of which are much more playable than recent AGameAWeek games, all done within the past few weeks. I think that's more than enough to stop you whinging about a lack of AGameAWeek.

Same as, Advent continues right through until Xmas!
Although, whether the advent collection will include a game for Xmas day or not hasn't yet been decided..
If I can manage to do enough, I will, but I won't be spending christmas morning coding anything, so..!

54 games. Last year I only managed about 30-odd, so I think that's pretty good going.
Sure, it might not have truely actually been A Game "Per" Week, but I did at least keep the ratio up.
If I hadn't taken the time out to build the framework, I probably would've actually achieved the target a little better
The stats show I was pretty much on top of things up until that point, but then things got slower and slower until my buffer zone was all dried up.

You could say that this week's been a bit of a cheat. An update isn't REALLY a whole new game.
But then, I also made <a href="https://AGameAWeek.com/?p=656">ScoreRack</a>, this week, too.. So it all evens out!

An early caffeine fuelled start has lead to a nice NeonPlat trailer, which actually took about two hours... But who's counting!?

I didn't keep a track of how/when I pieced this together, mostly because I kinda just jumped into it this morning, but it went ...

Since mid-December, when I stupidly came up with the idea to make 12 games over the course of Xmas, I've been lagging behind.
So, So, SOOO far behind.
And I've been trying desperately to catch up with loads of stuff.
This week, I released my framework.

This has all been checked, rechecked, and triple checked.
It appears to have been nothing more than a coincidence.
.. That tried to steal my password.. And then another coincidence that caused me to reset my iPod for the first time since Xmas.

Pain has engulfed my world, this week.

That went as well as could be expected. Xmas intervened, family issues cropped up, all manner of snow based issues, and I pretty much rushed through the last 4 or 5 of those!
Not that it was entirely noticeable. I happen to think the last two were cracking games.
But which were your favourites?
Three Hens a-Laying seemed remake-able, could be something more interest.
