As we near adding game #300 to the Archive, things are getting a wee bit chaotic in my Dev-folder.
Games are being started, then largley ignored, as I constantly jump from project to project in a desperate attempt to find "That special something" which will do for #300.
So far, nothing big has turned up, so, with only a few weeks until we get there, I've still no idea exactly what that game might end up being.

The two started chatting about Spiders, or something, and the idea of battling spiders with toothpicks somehow came up.

Now you can hop from your pocket, as Hoppy Bobby makes his way onto iOS!
The initial release is FREE, so you've no excuse not to grab it.
At a later point, I'd like to make a bigger-longer-better adventure mode, and add achievements and things, too. That'll be a Pay-for edition, but for now the original's there, and it's just as swear-inducing as ever!

Apologies that this post has taken me so long to publish.
I actually wrote most of it about 3 months ago, when I first released SpikeDislike2, but it's been sat on my Mac on a Sticky Note, and I kinda forgot all about it!
I remembered it, the other day, when I submitted SpikeDislike2-Lite to Apple.

Evil pirates are everywhere.
You know what really irks me, though?
The way the pirates slap their name onto your game.
They don't dig into the innards and fiddle with things that would intrude on the player's experience, but they do slap their name on the download filename.
Eg, I could make a game called Mr Hippo's Happy Adventure, and the pirate download would end up as "[MrKipper] - Mr Hippo's Happy Adventure.ipa", thus giving MrKipper the fanfare, and taking it away from me.

Last night I was asked how I got Monkey to do all the things that I managed to make it do.
I tried to describe it as best as I could, but was already wrapped up in bed, trying to remember it all, whilst only holding an iPad! Not an easy job.

AGameAWeek is meant to happen on Tuesdays.
I've stated numerous times that SpikeDislike2 will be released on March 5th, which is also a Tuesday.
.. But Apple.. .. Apple don't give you times..!
On Apple's hugely chaotic iTunesConnect site, you can happily pop a Release Date into the mechanism, but there's no way to state a Release Time.

We're about a week away from the intended March 5th Release Date, (assuming I can get everything sorted soon!) so I figured it's probably about time that I post about my plans for SpikeDislike2.
Obviously, if SpikeDislike2 is going to be on sale in the AppStore, players are going to need an incentive to buy it, but if I'm also going to release a Windows/Android/Browser edition, for free, what extras would the iOS folk be paying for?
